COMPREHENSIVE COMMUNITY PLAN Mint Hill is YOUR town and this is YOUR plan that will create a shared vision for future growth! PHASE ONE Discovery Phase One will focus on the assessment of existing land uses and infrastructure conditions and the identification of key planning issues affecting the community. PHASE TWO Plan Development Phase Two will create land use alternatives that will be reviewed by the community to guide the preferred plan. PHASE THREE Direction & Documentaion Phase Three will develop policy recommendations and implementation strategies that will guide the community's preferred land use plan.

Mint Hill is planning for a resilient, vibrant, and inclusive future. One of the main ways the town can plan for this is through periodic updates to its Comprehensive Plan. The Comprehensive Plan update will outline a long-term community vision for the future and serve as a guide for the town’s development and preservation decisions that will be made over a 10-year time period. It will cover a wide range of topics, such as: land use, mobility, and public services, all intended to improve the quality of life for residents and visitors. Through the planning process, land uses, local economy, transportation, utilities, recreation, resource conservation, and community health will be evaluated.
