WELCOME FROM DSE It is with great pleasure, we in DSE welcome you to DSE Fair Aalborg 2019. We hope this Fair will strengthen your network and provide a greater insight into the companies present at the Fair.

By doing this, you will appear well-prepared and professional when talking to the companies. This will give you more relevant information and leave the companies with a good impression of you.

DSE Fair Aalborg is your opportunity to meet companies from a wide spectrum of fields of engineering relevant for most engineering students. Some of the participating companies are globally well known with thousands of employees, others are smaller and might be unfamiliar. Use this catalog to read about all the companies at the Fair. One of them might have the job you dream of!

At the Fair, some of the companies will offer a short presentation of themselves including a Q&A session. This is a great opportunity for you to expand your insider knowledge of the companies in a more informal way. Furthermore, the Startup corner will have business advisors and startup companies offering their assistance to those who have an entrepreneur inside of them.

Group room tour During week 39 we are visiting your group room, where we will be handing out candy and catalogues, while we inform the interested about the Fair. Fair Lottery At the Fair you have the opportunity to participate in our Fair lottery, where you have the chance to win great prizes. All you have to do is: 1. Visit the info stand at the Fair and get a flyer. 2. Fill the flyer with stamps. 3. Hand in the filled flyer at the DSE stand and receive your tickets for the tombola, from which you can win one or more great prizes. Banedanmark Banedanmark er Danmarks største bygherreorganisation og vi har nogle af landets største infrastrukturprojekter. Vi har travlt som aldrig før og hos os får du mulighed for at sætte dit fingeraftryk og se resultaterne af dit arbejde ude i den virkelige verden. Det er uanset, om du vil arbejde med projekt- og projekteringsledelse, nye signalsystemer, trafikal planlægning, byggeledelse, baneteknik eller noget andet.

Vi elektrificerer jernbanen På Sjælland er vi i gang med at sætte nye køreledninger og master op. Og i Jylland er vi blandt andet i gang med at forberede elektrificeringen ved at hæve broer, sænke spor, ombygge veje og tænke geoteknik og afvanding. Vi laver nye signaler og vi udskifter de forældede signaler med ny teknologi. Det er en kompleks opgave, som er krævende både teknisk og projektstyringsmæssigt og berører mange fagområder. De nye signaler bliver udrullet løbende frem mod 2030.

Vi bygger Ringsted-Femern banen Strækningen Ringsted til Rødby Havn skal gennemgå en omfattende ombygning som forberedelse til Femern-bælt tunnellen. Banen bliver dobbeltsporet hele vejen, og der kommer helt nye jernbanebroer over Storstrømmen, Guldborgsund og Masnedsund. Banen skal desuden elektrificeres, og for at gøre plads til kørestrøm og dobbeltspor ombygger vi mere end 100 broer og et større antal vejanlæg.

Vi planlægger trafikken Udover vores mange projekter optimerer vi udnyttelsen af jernbanen ved at simulere fremtidige køreplaner og arbejde med kapacitetsudvikling. Vi planlægger, udvikler og tildeler kapacitet til togoperatørerne og korrigerer køreplanen i forbindelse med vedligehold og projekter. Vi passer på jernbanen og vedligeholder den løbende – spor, kørestrøm, sikringsanlæg og meget andet. Og vi udvikler nye metoder til vedligehold, for eksempel 3D-opmåling af vores sporskifter for at vurdere behovet for vedligehold.

Business Development sits at the intersection of our trading, technology, operations, and compliance teams. We improve the firm’s existing business and consider potential new business opportunities by understanding the regulatory and operational frameworks of various financial markets, and how they impact the implementation of the firm’s systems, processes, and trading strategies.

Trading We trade based on our own proprietary models. Quantitative analysis and insights into related markets enable us to make competitive markets in even the most complicated products. On an average day, we trade over $13 billion in equities worldwide. During peak trading hours, trading desks are central to the excitement of our offices. Once the buzz has subsided, they’re a place for mentorship and open discussion.

Technology Technology is core to our business, and software development is integrated into everything we do. The scope of the systems we build is large, with billions of dollars of transactions flowing through them every day; but the group behind them isn’t. That means that each person has the opportunity to make a substantial impact.

Research Asking great questions is more important than knowing all the answers. Researchers at Jane Street investigate some of the most challenging problems presented by the competitive marketplace. The problems we work on rarely have clean, definitive answers and we are comfortable pushing in new and unknown directions while maintaining clarity of purpose.

Internships We offer internships in four different groups: trading, technology, research and business development. All of our offices follow a slightly different internship schedule, though our typical summer internship lasts 10–12 weeks. You work alongside full timers, and we get to know you and see how you think about and solve the kinds of problems we deal with every day. All interns also spend time in a foreign office with travel and accommodation arranged by Jane Street.

Hvert år inviteres alle medarbejdere med på en skitur i foråret og en studietur i efteråret. Studieturen har bl.a. gået til Barcelona, Istanbul og senest Hamborg.

I de seneste år har MOE haft en betydelig medarbejdertilgang, og vi er nu over 900 medarbejdere fordelt på seks kontorer i Danmark og datterselskaber i Norge og Filippinerne.

The Danish Road Directorate Can you make a difference for society and road users while creating innovativesolutions for future infrastructure? Then you might be one of our future employees. We are responsible for the national road network and ensure that our infrastructure develops in harmony with future needs.

Planning We conduct studies and plans in order to determine where new roads are to be built. Currently we are working on a feasibility study and an environmental impact assessment concerning a new motorway in the center of Jutland. And to prepare the national road network for self-driving vehicles we also work withroad design and equipment, IT solutions, traffic consequences, regulation of the area etc.

Construction When we construct roads and bridges, we aim to provide safe and functional solutions which are sustainable and financially responsible. Among our ongoing major construction projects are a new Roskilde Fjord link, a new StorstrĂ¸ms Bridge and the expansion of a E45-stretch.

Traffic management We guide road users through the traffic, for example via signposting, electronic information boards and traffic information in various media. At our Traffic Centre we have the national overview of the traffic situation 24 hours a day and intervene if urgent or potentially dangerous situations emerge.

Operations Our road network is always open â&#x20AC;&#x201C; during maintenance work, on rainy days and during snowstorms. When we operate and maintain the national roads with our suppliers, we usually interact with residents and road users, and we do our very best always to focus on their needs. Gennem årene har AIESEC hjulpet forskellige danske og nordjyske virksomheder med at finde internationale kandidater med specifikke evner og færdigheder. Vi kan bl.a finde nyuddannede højt-kvalificerede profiller indenfor IT- og ingeniørområderne – noget som de nordjyske virksomheder rigtig ofte har brug for.
