FOCUS
NIGHT?
Focus Night is your opportunity to meet some of the largest and most interesting engineering companies in Denmark. Focus Night is held at the university in the evening, making it easy for you to attend after the day’s studies.
THE ARRANGEMENT OF FOCUS NIGHTS Each Focus Night has a specific theme, which focuses on a certain area of engineering. Normally, one Focus Night has participation of between two and four companies who want to meet engineering students and newly graduates. At the Focus Night, you will have the possibility to attend two presentations of one hour each. There will be a Q&A session at the end of each presentation, where you will be able to ask the questions you may have for the company. After the presentations, there will be free dinner during which you will have the opportunity to talk to the representatives from the companies. How to sign up can be seen on page 6.

WHY SHOULD YOU ATTEND? Focus Night offers a great opportunity for you to explore and network with leading companies within the diverse fields of engineering, making the events highly relevant, no matter how far you are in your studies. Furthermore, they are a great source for finding a student job, internship or company partner for a project.
WHAT IS FOCUS NIGHT
ON TOUR? Focus Night On Tour is your opportunity to go and see a company’s worksite and its work environment. This enables you to obtain a more genuine understanding of the company’s internal work routines than a regular Focus Night will do.
WHERE IS IT HELD? Each Focus Night On Tour is organized by the company in their own buildings. These companies will organize a tour at their workplace, giving you a unique opportunity for networking and experiencing what could possibly be your future workplace.
TRANSPORTATION? You must travel to the Focus Night On Tour that you desire to participate in by your own means. The companies’ addresses can be seen on the right page along with where and when each Focus Night On Tour takes place.
Note:
The Focus Night On Tour with Linak is the only excursion, and a bus will be provided as transportation, which will depart from Aalborg University at ‘Stjerneporten’ at Fibigerstræde 11 at 07:00. How to sign up can be seen on page 6.
