OMA EMIRATES MONTHLY MEDAL IN ASSOCIATION WITH CHRISTIES INTERNATIONAL REAL ESTATE Emirates Golf Club hosted the OMA Emirates Monthly Medal in Association with Christies International Real Estate on the Majlis Course.
The winner of the A Division was Ken Newell who shot 74 Net (2 over par) with a better back 9. Continuing his great form from last season Ken played quality Golf for most of the game with 4 net birdies and 10 net pars.

he runner up of the A Division was David Waite with 74 Net (2 over par). 5 impressive net birdies, including one on the difficult 6th hole. Third place in the A Division was Russel Yeomans who shot 75 Net (3 over par) with a better back 9. Net birdies on holes 14 and 17 helped Russell secure his place in the prizes. Best gross in the A Division was Sanjay Dhandsa with 76 (4 over par). The back 9 was Sanjay’s favorable 9 as he shot 35 (1 under par). Sanjay birdied hole 10 which helped him secure his 2nd best gross of the year. The winner of the B Division and the Overall Best Net winner of the day was Edmundo Lujan with a strong Net 72 (level par). A 5-way card playoff was required and Edmundo had the better back 6 Inspired by his gross birdie on hole 13.

The runner up of B Division was Asif Raza with a 72 Net (level par) and a better back 9. 4 net birdies, 1 net eagle and a 2 on hole 7. Excellent form from Asif. Third place in B Division was Ravi Khanna with a 72 Net (level par) and a better back 9. Back-to-back net birdies on holes 10 and 11 got Ravi off to a great start for the back 9. The winner of the C Division was Frank Duggan with a 73 Net (1 over par). 6 net birdies and 1 net eagle for Frank including an impressive par on the tough signature hole 8. The winner of the Gents Stableford event was Russel Curtis with 37 points. Russel went out in an impressive 21 points and came home in 16. The overall winner of the Ladies Stableford Event was Rekha Bandopadhyay with 36 points (level par). The highlight of Rekha’s round coming from back-to-back net birdies on the difficult hole 12 and 13. The winner of the Silver Division was Nonita Chand with 35 points. A better back 9 was needed to determine the winner and back-toback net birdies on hole 13 and 14 helped secured this for Nonita. The winner of the Bronze Division was Chantelle De Villiers with 35 points. A gross birdie on hole 2 was one of the excellent holes Chantelle had. Nearest to the pin on hole 7 sponsored by OMA Emirates was won by Phillip Petre. Nearest to the pin on hole 15 sponsored by OMA Emirates was won by Craig Davidson. Nearest to the pin on hole 4 sponsored by Christies International Real Estate was won by Zach Gould. Nearest to the pin on hole 11 sponsored by Christies International Real Estate was won by Grant MacFarlane.
