Eulyn Enojo is a highly accomplished finance professional with an impressive career spanning over 10 years. She holds multiple prestigious certifications, including being a Chartered International Public Accountant (CIPA) in the USA, a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), and an MBA. She is also a member of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) in Dubai.

Eulyn Enojo was recently awarded the Eminent Corporate Accountant Award at the Dubai Vibes Eminent Awards 2023. This recognition acknowledges her outstanding performance and exemplary contribution to the field of finance and business in the UAE.

Currently, Eulyn serves as the Chief Accountant at Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU) in Dubai. In this role, she is responsible for managing the budgeted expenditures, generating financial reports, and performing variance analysis. She also oversees the daily operations of the finance department, liaises with bank representatives, and ensures compliance with audit requirements. Eulyn plays a crucial role in decision-making processes by providing management reports and

recommendations.

Prior to her current position, Eulyn held various finance roles, including Senior Accountant at the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery Hospital and General Accountant at Al Itharah Amusement Center. In these roles, she demonstrated expertise in financial management, budgeting, and reconciliation using systems such as Oracle R12, Microsoft Dynamics, and Hyperion Budget & Planning.

Eulyn’s career began as a PartTime Accountant at ATV Cargo Forwarders, where she used the Sage Accounting System to maintain cash disbursement and purchasing books and perform bank reconciliations. She also gained experience as a Cost Accountant at Alliance Food Concepts and an Accountant at Icebergs

Food Concepts, where she prepared financial statements, analyzed financial operations, and assisted with external audits.

Throughout her career, Eulyn has exhibited strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. She is a team player with excellent interpersonal skills, allowing her to establish and maintain effective working relationships across various work functions.

Engr. Ronnet Closa receives Innovator of Green Engineering Award for pioneering sustainable solutions

Engr. Ronnet Closa, is the Manager (HSE & Sustainability) at PIVOT Engineering and General Contracting Company, has been awarded the Innovator of Green Engineering Awardee from Dubai Vibes Eminent Awards in 2023. This prestigious award recognizes her innovative contributions to green engineering, an increasingly critical area of focus as companies and governments worldwide work to reduce their carbon footprint and transition to more sustainable practices.

Closa has been with PIVOT Engineering since June 2015, where she has served as a Corporate Senior Environmental and Sustainability Engineer. In this role, she has worked on a variety of high-profile projects, including the P118 ADCO NEB Infrastructure, the AKOYA DAMAC Luxury Villas at Akoya Dubai, and the Mussafah Tower. She has also been involved in the design and construction of several other notable buildings, including Saraya C34 Residential Tower, The First Avenue Mall & Hotel, and the Al Jaddaf Tower.

Closa’s work at PIVOT Engineering has been focused on developing sustainable solutions that minimize the impact of buildings on the environment. She has played a key role in the design

and implementation of green building technologies that reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions while improving indoor air quality and occupant comfort. Her work has helped to establish PIVOT Engineering as a leader in sustainable building design and construction.

Prior to joining PIVOT Engineering, Closa served as a Senior HSE Engineer (Client Representative) at Dorsch Holding GmbH in Abu Dhabi. In this role, she was responsible for ensuring that all projects were carried out in compliance with local and international health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Closa’s achievements have been widely recognized within the industry. In addition to the Innovator of Green

Engineering Award from Dubai Vibes Eminent Awards, she has received numerous other accolades, including the Best Paper Award at the International Conference on Environmental Science and Technology in 2017.

Closa’s dedication to sustainability and environmental protection is an inspiration to others in the industry. Recently, Engr. Schonberg was recognized for her outstanding achievements in Aerospace Robotics STEM NASA Mechatronic Engineering, receiving an award that acknowledges her contribution to the field of space exploration. Engr. Schonberg’s accomplishments include her instrumental role in the design and development of the United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) missions to Mars and the Moon.

She has also been spearheading the training of students in the UAE, inspiring them to study STEM subjects, specifically space and earth sciences. Her dedication to innovation and technology is further highlighted by her work as a teacher, where she is committed to providing Kinesthetic learning and Robotics for children on the autism spectrum. In an interview with Expatmedia.net, she expressed her desire to prioritize helping jobless Filipinos who are still on visit visas in Dubai, hoping that her act of kindness can provide much-needed assistance to those going through

Ramos understands the struggles of unemployment and the difficulties of making ends meet, especially during the pandemic. Despite not being wealthy, she wants to be an instrument of hope and courage, lightening the burdens of others so they can rise again. “I know the feeling of being jobless, and being

barely able to survive with all the bills that needed to be paid, especially during the pandemic. I’m not rich but I want to be God’s instrument to give people hope and courage to restart their life, and in a way lessen their burden so they can get up again.”

As news of her kind offer spread, Ramos’ social media post garnered over 100 shares on Facebook, with friends tagging others and many praising her selflessness.

Already, four individuals have expressed interest in the apartment. One person mentioned that they were currently sleeping on a rooftop and surviving with help from random people in Satwa. Another individual shared their struggle to renew their visa due to an extended period without receiving a salary. Ramos is determined to make a difference in their lives.

Having lived in Dubai for the past 19 years, Ramos has learned the importance of helping others, particularly during challenging times. She believes that if one has the capacity to assist, even in small ways, they should seize the opportunity. Ramos stated, “If you have the capacity to help people, even in a small way, do it. God blesses us to be a blessing to others.”

Her act of compassion and willingness to provide shelter for those in need is a shining example of the impact individuals can make when they extend a helping hand to their fellow human beings. Aloysia Ogle

Shines as Eminent Personality 2023, Igniting Change for Inclusion and Innovation

Dr. Aloysia Ogle has been chosen the Eminent Personality for 2023 by Dubai Vibes Magazine, in recognition of her outstanding achievements and services to the community. Dr. Ogle’s work as the managing director of Protea Professional Services, a media organization that also focuses on social responsibility programs, has had a tremendous impact on society.

Dr. Ogle expressed her thanks for the honor in an interview with Dubai Vibes Magazine, adding that “it felt like a blessing and that God was looking down and saying, ‘Well done’”. She credits her enthusiasm for learning, exploring, and trying new things for her success.

“I’m a born student. I love to learn, explore, ask questions, try, fail, and pivot. I believe this is the key to being innovative and creative,” she said.

Numerous significant turning points and encounters have defined Dr. Ogle’s path to prominence in Dubai. She celebrated the first anniversary of her business last year and published “Not So Different After All,” her first picture book for kids, in eight different languages. Dr. Ogle has organized awareness programs and delivered speeches at international gatherings to spread the message of the book, which advocates for the inclusion of children with neurodiverse (autistic) abilities.

This strong woman has also taken part in a number of international outreach initiatives to engage with underprivileged populations in her own nation, providing them with hope and motivation to work hard and diligently.

The event honored three distinguished guest of honors: Abdulaziz Ahmed, Managing Director and Founder of Safeer Corporate Services and President of UAE Commonwealth Entrepreneur Club; Her Excellency Laila Rahhal El Atfani, President of Women and Youth Empowerment Refai NGOInternational Diplomatic Relations for AACID; and David Gerald Hirsch, Libraries Advisor of Mohammed Bin Rashid Library.

The highlight of the event was the presentation of the Dubai Vibes Eminent Special Awards. The first award, the Outstanding Achievement in Aerospace Robotic STEM NASA Mechatronic Engineering, was awarded to Lilac Schonberg for her trailblazing work in space technology.

Mary Grace Ramos received the Philanthropic Spirit Award for her selflessness and generosity towards her community. Marcel Oyson Velez was recognized as the Beauty Industry Pioneer of the Year for her lasting impact on the beauty industry.

Eulyn Enojo was presented with the Eminent Corporate Accountant Award for her outstanding performance in finance and business. Dr. Sayed Ali, the Couture Entrepreneur of the Year, was celebrated for his contributions to the fashion industry.

Engr. Roneth Closa, a woman of power and intelligence, received the award for Outstanding Innovation and

Development in the Engineering field.

The program then moved on to the Dubai Vibes Eminent Business Services of the Year awards. 1001-Chinagate Restaurant was named the Eminent Restaurant of the Year for its outstanding haute cuisine and excellent service. The Philippine Supermarket received the Eminent Merchandising Company of the Year award for its philanthropic activities during the pandemic. LM Exchange was honored with the Best Global Money Transfer Service Award for its exceptional support to expats and their families.

Finally, the much-awaited moment arrived as the “13 Dubai Vibes Eminent Personalities” were called on stage to accept their awards. These individuals were carefully evaluated by a panel consisting of Dr. Loretta Sanders, Mr. David Gerald Hirsch, Mr. Jad Chehayeb, and Dr. Sayed Ali.

Among the winners was Aloysia Ogle, a South African Physician, Advocate, Author, and Philanthropist. Her outstanding contributions and dedication to her field made her a role model and an inspiration to others.

The evening concluded with speeches from the awardees expressing their gratitude and determination to continue making a difference in their respective industries.
