Genasis has an inspiring story of how he came up from the streets of Long Beach, CA, to create a successful career for himself, which allowed him to afford his #Dreamride, a Rolls-Royce Ghost. DocZilla’s Ferrari 458 is definitely stunning and I’m wishing I had it in my own garage! I see he’s fixing up a few other rides also...can’t wait to see those completed as well!
Suarez in his own words put “a lot of blood, sweat and tears” into the build and it definitely shows! The Ford was transformed into a show stopper because of his commitment to go beyond traditional builds and really create something unique. He made the trek from Miami to Los Angeles with Specialty Forged Wheels to display it front and center at this year’s LA DUB Show and it did not disappoint. We’re looking forward to seeing that 2017 Ford F-250 he mentioned for this year’s SEMA Show, too!

I too have Chevy running in my veins and dig how he restored and customized his ride! I’ve yet to restore my own Camaro, but I’m determined to do a clean build just like his. ROLLS-ROYCE ENVISIONS THE FUTURE WITH ITS 103EX As a personalized icon for the company’s future, the 103EX concept is a spectacular piece of art which represents their vision for the next 100 years. Their vision is to create the automotive equivalent of haute couture and continue to push the boundaries when it comes to luxury mobility. In making an automobile of the future that still keeps its timeless glamour, each Rolls-Royce will be designed less like a car and more like a bespoke sculpture, prioritizing individuality. The outside will feature distinct Rolls-Royce traits with a more futuristic take, while the interior will promote ultimate rest and relaxation, setting out to be a retreat from the outside world. The concept is a two-seater, complete with a plush sofa, no steering wheel or instrument panel and a cabin filled with next-level technology such as a cabin-width transparent OLED display, Macassar wood and a carpet made of silk. Although the 103EX won’t show up in showrooms anytime soon, Rolls-Royce hopes enthusiasts will admire its design and futuristic amenities as they eagerly anticipate what the future of automotive holds for them.
TOYO TIRES UNLEASHES “THE FERRET” WITH OFF-ROAD CHAMPION BJ BALDWIN
Toyo Tires has dropped its actionfilled video that features off-road champ BJ Baldwin. Titled “The Ferret,” the video features Baldwin as he takes the highly modified Ferret 4x4 military scout vehicle through forests, deserts and water as it’s faced with seemingly impossible obstacles. Toyo’s “The Ferret” was made using a 1959 British Ferret and had Action Vehicle Engineering totally modify it to the extreme version you see in the film. At the heart of the build are its six massive Toyo Open Country tires mounted on custom 26 | DUB MAGAZINE 2016
wheels - with two of them powered by hydraulic motors that are operated from the inside. To help it overcome any terrain, a modified suspension with King Shocks allow it to traverse obstacles with ease. Some serious under-the-hood power comes by a freshly installed Chevy LS engine in the rear, giving it some American muscle. And on top of “The Ferret” is a custombuilt launcher with grappling hook that’s attached to a winch cable for a medieval look and extra maneuvering capabilities.

T
he KICKER Vehicle Design and Fabrication team is always kept busy with various installs and demo vehicles, showcasing the latest and greatest KICKER products in a variety of rides. One of their install projects was a 1950 Studebaker Champion they dubbed “Eagle Eye,” which was inspired by a Studebaker that was entered in a KICKER car show held at the company’s Stillwater, OK headquarters. The team (consisting of David Adams, Randy Botts, Josh Fletcher, Tim Smith and Kip Litsey) was determined that they wanted to build the demo vehicle from the ground up and immediately sought permission from management.

Once given the green light, they went right to work to design something with the goal of having ultimate sound without compromising cargo space in the Studebaker. Another goal with the unique build was to show classic car owners the innovative KICKER PX-Series products and how it can be incorporated into their own classic car restoration project. Two 10” 600W RMS KICKER CompRT shallowmount subs and their thin-profile engineering allowed them to fit easily anywhere in the vehicle, while the PXiBT50.2 Controller and six PX-Series amps (four 200Wx2 stereo/two 200Wx1 mono) can easily tuck away under seats or in glove

compartments, though in this case for demo purposes they are displayed in the enormous trunk. The PXiBT50.2 remote for controlling music selection and volume of any Bluetooth-enabled device is embedded into the custom console within easy reach of the driver or passenger. The three QS-Series Component System and two Front Row 6-channel digital processors supply the build with an added shot of superlative sound, creating what is undoubtedly the most stunning audio system in a Studebaker ever. Although the audio was the main focus of the build, the KICKER Studebaker also sports Dayton Wire Wheels, Continental Tires, Fatman Fabrication, Kindig-It Design, Miller Welding, Classic Instruments, Dynamat sound deadening and XS Power batteries. “The Studebaker looks fantastic and sounds amazing,” mentions KICKER Vehicle Design manager Kip Litsey. “It is truly the best showcase we have done to date to support (PX-Series) amplifiers and (media-device) interfaces.” KICKER Global Marketing Director Kevin Campbell was also excited about the end result, given he usually prefers a more traditional approach to classic cars. “I am pumped! Normally I’m inclined to want to show a build like this with a ‘don’t touch’ approach, but, not this time. I think we need to pull people into the car to experience what we’re so excited about.”

noop Dogg’s appreciation of fine rides has made him a favorite of our magazine and we’ve caught up with the legendary rapper quite a few times. For his feature in Issue 64 back in 2010, Snoop showed off his then 1967 Pontiac Parisienne, aka Snoop’s Lakers ride, and his adoration for his favorite NBA team (he actually recently gifted it to Kobe Bryant as a gift for his retirement). He first bought the ride during a trip to Vancouver where he was doing a video and explains how it was all white, but he brought it back and had it “whipped, dipped and flipped, so [he] could hit the strip.” The old school ride features an eye-catching mural that showcases all the team’s greats like Magic, Kobe, Kareem and Chick Hearn. The ride even bleeds purple and gold inside, with its custom interior, sound system enclosure and hydraulic switches.

t’s a scorching hot July day in Long Beach, CA, and West Coast rapper O.T. Genasis is right at home in the city he grew up in. He’s gearing up for his photo shoot at the former location of the iconic VIP Records on the busy corner of Pacific Coast Highway and Martin Luther King Jr Ave. Before he even arrived, there was excitement in the air as passersby were checking out the Rolls-Royce that was posted in the parking lot at the location made famous in Snoop’s “Who Am I? (What’s My Name?)” video back in 1993.

As he arrived, he was instantly greeted by old friends and fans, who were more than happy to see him. Selfies, Snapchats and autographs were the first and last thing on the list of the day’s shoot, as he obliged everyone calling his name. O.T. admits that coming back home has been a humbling experience. “I was just on the outside looking in a couple years ago and now I’m that guy people are taking pictures with,” he says. “Just to see the looks on everybody’s faces when you talk to them is amazing. Some of these kids never leave the LBC and now I’ve become an inspiration for them. It’s a dope feeling to really engage with your fans.” O.T. has been waiting a long time for this moment to come, hustling hard and carving out a name for himself within the music industry since as long as he could remember. First blowing up in 2014 with his single “CoCo,” he knew he didn’t want to be a one-hit wonder and followed with his 2015 single “Cut It,” where it topped Billboard charts. Now he’s gearing up for the biggest move of his career – his debut album that’s slated to drop by the end of the year. But before he drops that, he’s giving his OG fans some love with a mixtape, something he hopes will double as an enticing introduction to his lyrical prowess for new fans he’s picked up along the way. “With this album, people will definitely know a lot more about me,” he mentions. “Right now, that’s the problem… People don’t know who the real O.T. Genasis is. They will after this album and I’m going to bring the good times, party, street vibes and just everything else that fans know me for. I’m giving people my lifestyle in musical form. This is going to be my baby, so I’m making sure I do everything right.”

And by “right” he means his own way as he choses to do things differently than what’s expected of him. Since he’s from Long Beach and hails from the West Coast, he and his music are often compared to Snoop Dogg, who put the city on the map. “I do what I do, I stay in my lane and play my own part in the city where I came from. I’m automatically attached to a certain sound because of where I’m from. But I try not to do the same thing that everybody else is doing. Musically, I’m on a different level and although the LBC has influenced me and my music, it doesn’t define it.”
In fact, O.T. doesn’t care for labels at all, not even with his own music and sound. While others may have distinct sounds or beats they include in all their work, he admits that he doesn’t intentionally have one – and it’s been beneficial. “I’m so much of a music fan that most of the time you won’t know it was me,” he says. “All my joints sound totally different and that’s the interesting part about it all – I’m one of those people you can’t figure out. Having one musical style gets old fast and I don’t want to get old so I choose not to have one. I’m not looking for a sound since I want to produce hit records. It’s harder to produce them if you’re looking for one particular beat to fit with your sound. I’m all about making hit records so I’m open to all sorts of things.”

It seems everything that he does is a hit, which has blessed him with the means to own his own Rolls-Royce Ghost. “I don’t get to drive it that often since I’m always on the road, but I guess that’s sort of a good thing,” he admits. “It means I’m not putting in crazy miles on it because if I was home, I’d be driving it every day!” As a fan of double Rs and all that it entails, O.T. is looking to add the Wraith to his collection. “Ah, man it was dope,” he confesses. The two-tone color, clean Forgiatos… it was amazing. I wish we should have shot at night to see the stars in the roof. These rides are classy and coming from where I’m from, you never saw a RR in the hood. Those who were hood rich would either drive Maseratis or Bentleys and the like.”
But what O.T. really likes about a Rolls-Royce is the attention he gets while driving it. “I’m all about being fly and that’s what you look like while in a Rolls.” And driving in his Ghost is just one of the many places where he gets attention, with the most being with his music videos - the video for “Coco”alone has garnered more than 179 million views. And let’s not forget his stage presence, which amplifies his music, giving fans a performance to remember each and every time he’s in concert. DUB Show fans should be familiar with O.T.’s powerful stage presence as he’s performed at numerous DUB Shows, including our recent L.A. stop. “Every time I go 64 | DUB MAGAZINE 2016
to the DUB Show, it’s crazy, but this year’s stops are something else,” he details. “It was dope to see everyone vibing to my songs. The crowd knew my jams word for word and it was amazing to see them singing along with me!” When he drops his debut album, O.T. Genasis is going to have more fans knowing all the words to his jams, helping him get closer to his goal of becoming an influential entrepreneur. “I want music to be the outlet to accomplish everything I can possibly do in life,” he explains. “That includes everything from movies, to owning my own label and more. I’d be lying if I told you I wasn’t trying to be on some Jay Z status…that or better.”

hen you think of Long Beach, CA, your mind automatically conjures up Snoop Dogg and V.I.P. Records – a landmark he made famous in his “Who Am I (What’s My Name” music video. But it also housed the studio where other legendary West Coast rappers Warren G, Nate Dogg (and Snoop when he was in the trio 213 with them) recorded their first demo that led to their big musical breaks. The record store is sort of an iconic symbol for West Coast gangster rap and was the place to go in its 1990s heyday for musical encounters with some of the genre’s biggest names.

Unfortunately, nothing lasts forever and like other record stores across the nation, it saw its demise after the digital era and was eventually shut down in 2012. At one point, there were a dozen stores in Southern California and all have closed down since customers started downloading their music from the web. “World Famous V.I.P. Records has been in business since 1979 and it’s a very special feeling to be recognized and known across this country and around the world as a big influence in the music industry,” former owner Kelvin Anderson mentions. “V.I.P. Records and other independent retail music stores are responsible

for the launching of rap music through in-store play because in the early stages it received no radio or video play. The music business has changed dramatically over the years because of the Internet and downloading. Today’s music consumer feels that the music should be free, so that’s the reason why there is hardly any independent or major retail music stores left.” But the sign still stands tall, a reminder to rap fans of what once was and an inspiration to all those up-and-coming kids, hoping to make a name for themselves like their music idols once did.

A
s a self-proclaimed “car freak” Michael Fux has to be the luckiest man alive in the eyes of any car enthusiast. While many collectors might boast a garage of a few exotics, luxury and performance rides, Fux owns a whopping 160-plus rides and they’re all lust-worthy creations that are out of reach for the majority of admirers. “Growing up, I bought clunkers because I couldn’t afford anything else,” he confesses. “I promised myself that one day when I could, I’d get them all.” And he practically has! When the Cuban-American businessman first moved to the States with his family at 15, he was dirt poor. Realizing that he wanted something better for his life, the young
entrepreneur launched his own battery and used tire shop after bargaining with local car repair shops to sell him their used tires and batteries. With a determined spirit and drive for success, he went on to develop numerous other ventures throughout the years, currently the owner and CEO of Comfort Revolution. But his love for automobiles first began when he was five when he used to “help” his grandfather steer the wheel of the taxi car he drove. Since then, his love for all things on four wheels has intensified and he’s amassed a fleet that has outgrown his wildest dreams. “I loved cars since I was five,” he admits. “As I grew up, the love continued to grow and I started buying
whatever I could afford and eventually it became so many that it’s now a vast collection.” His first high-end purchase over $100K was a BMW Z8 and since then, his fleet has grown to include about 20 Ferraris, eight RollsRoyces, a handful of Lamborghinis, several Porsches, BMWs, Mercedes-Benzes, McLaren’s and Bugattis, to name a few. “I have special relationships with car manufacturers and I get inside looks at new cars and models coming out, so if I like something a lot I buy it, especially for those that come out in limited quantities.” And it seems that he has a new ride every other month, with two new models just in the month of July alone – a Ferrari 488 Spider and DUB MAGAZINE 2016 | 73

an F12. Then at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance back in August 2016, he was finally able to take home the new Rolls-Royce Dawn convertible. Plus, he still has a few cars coming his way by the end of the year, including a Porsche 911 R, Mercedes-Benz AMG SL65 convertible, three BMWs and a Ferrari convertible. Because he loves every single car in his collection, Fux doesn’t have a habit of getting rid of any, which is why he has so many. But because he’s running out of room (he currently has several garages all across the nation, with the largest one in New Jersey holding about 120 vehicles), he’s selling, for the first time, a few of the ones he doesn’t drive as much. “I don’t think I’ll ever stop buying cars,” he confesses. “I can’t imagine how many times I said no more. But then I see something I like and I end up buying it. It’s pretty difficult for me to do, which is why I’m selling a few now. I need more space in my garages for the ones I’m getting.” So far, Fux mentions that he’s getting rid of a McLaren P1 since it’s not too comfy for him, a Porsche Carrera GT he’s had for 13 years, a Ferrari GTO he hasn’t used in a while and a Bugatti Veyron that hasn’t been driven in four years. Since he’s always getting new cars, Fux also admits that his favorite one is whatever his newest purchase is, driving them around a few times before he’s on to the next one. 74 | DUB MAGAZINE 2016

As you can imagine, he can’t possibly drive every single one of his cars. He currently has a staff of five whose sole job is to take care of the collection and make sure they’re always looking as good as the day he first bought them. “If you walk into my garage, you’ll be in awe because everything shines; it’s better than a showroom,” he admits. “And when it comes to maintenance, I wouldn’t even be able to tell you how much it costs! Depending on the car, it can be $8K or more. It’s not cheap. But that doesn’t even compare to what I pay for insurance!” Obviously, money isn’t an issue when making his dreams come true. For Fux, his fleet is his prized possession and he’ll be adding to it for as long as he can. “I’m in awe every time I walk into my garage. It’s like Disneyland for car lovers. I never dreamt I’d be able to do that, but look at me now.” Although it seems he has every ride he’s ever dreamed of having, there’s still one missing – a McLaren F1, which he has his eye out for one! 76 | DUB MAGAZINE 2016

Dishonored 2 is a first-person action adventure under development at Arkane Studios, and sequel to the award winning 2012 title. The game takes protagonist, royal protector Corvo Attano or Empress Emily Kaldwin, to the coastal city of Karnaca (considered the jewel of the south), where the choices gamers make will have a significant impact on the world 15 years after the original game. As a supernatural assassin, you play your way in a world where mysticism and industry collide. Both Emily and Corvo have their own set of unique supernatural powers, with Corvo’s powers extended and enhanced from the first game. Gamers get to define their own playstyle, as the game blends immersive first-person action, stealth, mobility, assassination and a brutal combat system, allowing them to creatively eliminate enemies.

The highly anticipated successor to the first Watch Dogs will take place in San Francisco and will consist of six different areas within the city. The game’s protagonist, hacker Marcus Holloway, is back as a member of a group called DedSec, which aims to destroy a program dubbed as Central Operating System 2.0, which turns out to be the city’s high-tech surveillance system. Gamers can play it on its story mode or multiplayer mode. Like the first game, gamers will be able to take control of different things like cars, cranes, drones and more, and they’ll have the ability to even hack bystanders and enemies. They’ll also be able to develop different skills to suit their playstyle and upgrade their hacker tools as they play the game.

The tactical shooter is now in its tenth installment with Ghost Recon Wildlands. Unlike past versions, this installment will be set in modern times and the game’s open world will feature a variety of environments, indicating that gamers will have lots of ground to cover. In the game, you will lead the Ghosts, an elite U.S. Special Forces team, in a deadly fight against the Santa Blanca drug cartel. Players are sent behind enemy lines to wreak havoc, destabilize and break the alliance between the corrupted government and cartel.

ome say repetition is the key to success and MC Customs is proof positive that it works. Jhulio Tadeo and his crew pride their business on building client relationships and providing a finished product that their customers are 100% satisfied with. One such customer is MLB player Felix Hernandez, who also goes by the nickname “King Felix.” As his go-to shop, Tadeo handles all of Hernandez’s automotive needs, while also building a lasting friendship. Whenever Hernandez gets a new ride, Tadeo is the first one he calls for all his mods. This is also the second time we have featured one of Felix Hernandez’s rides on the cover. Recently, Tadeo worked on Hernandez’s Ferrari 458 that screams sexiness! “This complete widebody kit was designed and handbuilt by us,” he mentions. “Felix wanted to be the only one in the world to have this styling. He didn’t want a kit that anyone can purchase; he wanted to be unique, so we decided to redesign the complete vehicle.” And when a client requests uniqueness, that’s exactly what MC Customs delivers. Tadeo went out of his way to make sure Hernandez drove around in a one-of-a-kind custom 458 and reworked the Ferrari’s perfect body and accentuating the sexiness of its lines. “This car has everything…” he describes. “A redesigned exterior, interior, full audio upgrade, Novitec suspension with front lift, Savini Wheels, 1016 Industries ECU upgrade, custom exhaust… the works!” But Tadeo’s favorite mod is the eyecatching yellow pearl coat exterior paint they sprayed it with to make sure that Hernandez elicited enamorous looks wherever he rolled in his Ferrari. Well accustomed to working with such delicate exotics, Tadeo’s only challenge was the time crunch he was given. “Building something like this takes a lot of time and patience to make sure everything looks right and fits,” he says. “Felix was very patient with us because he

knew when it was done it was going to be out of this world. In the end, Hernandez couldn’t believe how his Ferrari turned out. We certainly surpassed his expectations.” Since Hernandez paid to have a completely one-off look, Tadeo won’t be creating this kind of kit ever again, adding that he’s respecting Hernandez’s wish for being 100% unique. “It was hyped up for a long time among MLB ball players ’cause they all knew we were working on the project,” Tadeo explains. “Felix is more than a client he’s like my brother…and I myself put a
lot of time and energy into this build. Probably more than any other build we had ever done. It was special to me for many reasons, but above all it was special because the person I was building it for means a lot to me and my whole crew; and when you build something with love and emotion, its completion is a great blessing. That’s what we considered this build to be - a blessing!”

R
obert Castellanos’ love of Jeeps goes back to 1995 when he first started driving. Having always loved the rugged looks of a Jeep, he persuaded his parents to help get him his first – a 1995 YJ he called Little Big Foot – complete with a lift and aftermarket tires and rims. From then on, he was hooked, mentioning that Jeeps now run in his blood. Already five Jeeps deep, Castellanos has taken up the @5jeeplife name on IG, where he posts pictures of all his rigs, including his latest one – a 2015 Jeep JKU Sport that joins his 1997 TJ, 2004 Jeep LJ, 1980 Jeep CJ and two-door 2010 Jeep JK. With an affinity toward two-door Jeeps, Castellanos decided on a four-door one to add his niece’s car seat in the back, as he’s priming her

to also share in his love for Jeeps. “This particular Jeep was chosen because of the color Anvil,” he describes. It’s mostly used to go to meets and shows, or just to cruise around and make some noise out here in the streets of Miami. I wanted this build to be one of baddest mall crawlers in South Beach, where it’s all about good looking trucks and Jeeps. I wanted a head turner.” As soon as he purchased the new Jeep, it was already in the shop a week later awaiting its transformation. With intentions to make it a show queen, Castellanos knew he needed to go all out, estimating that all the mods total

to about $60K. “All my other builds are Rock Crawlers, except for my CJ, which is a mud machine,” he admits. “But this one is mostly all pavement because of its beauty.” To make it, he chose all the latest and greatest mods and linked up with his local shop, Champion 4x4, to help create his dream build. “Also helping me make sure it was a real mall crawler, my good friend Carlos Gonzalez from Specialty Forged, hooked me up with a set of 24x14 SF003 wheels in a brushed finish,” he details. His friend Tony from Monster Mobile Installs helped him with the Inspired Engineering lights to make the Jeep a “show stopper.” Richard Acosta from Ultimate Collision made sure all the new accessories matched the original Anvil color, which Castellanos says was a mission since the original color has three different shades in it.

“The only challenge I really had was getting things done,” he says. “As you bring a new project to life, carrying out those new ideas takes a long time, which is why it took me a year to finish this build. Shops here in Miami are busy, so we were mostly getting things done at night.” Happy with the way things turned out, Castellanos says there’s nothing else he needs to add to it. “I couldn’t ask for more on this build. It’s been a dream Jeep of mine and I now keep it in a warehouse so she doesn’t get wet or dirty. I only take her out when days are good.” And although the response on social media has been admiring, he does admit that he occasionally gets a few people bashing on how it’s a mall crawler and not a “real” Jeep. “But what they don’t understand is that I have other Jeeps that are more than capable and that I intentionally put this one together to be a mall crawler.”

The new bolt-on Skyjacker LeDuc Series coilovers have been tuned and tested by Curt LeDuc with application specific valving for maximum performance, both on-and off-road. You can purchase as a kit or coilover box upgrade, as Skyjacker has options available for the 2009-13 and 2015-16 Ford F150. The kit includes front 2.5” remote reservoir coilover shocks with coil springs; front steering knuckles; front and rear cross members; a front differential skid plate; front differential relocation brackets; a front driveshaft spacer; front sway bar lowering brackets; a carrier bearing lowering bracket; front and rear brake line relocation brackets; rear blocks; rear U-bolts; and rear M95 monotube shocks. he 2016 DUB Show Tour touched down in Dallas, TX, on Sunday, May 22nd at the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Center and featured some of the hottest rides from the region. The Lone Star state definitely brought its A-game, with hundreds of custom exotics, bikes, Lowriders and lifted trucks and Jeeps that were on display for fans to enjoy. The LFTD&LVLD showcase was huge, showing off dozens of the baddest rigs around! Besides all the hot rides, the concert stage was off the chain, with performances from the likes of Plies, Jeremih, Desiigner, Ty Dolla $ign, O.T. Genasis, K Camp, Paul Wall, Dorrough Music, Dreezy, Yung Nation, Lil Twon, Fat Pimp, Don Chief, Lil Ronny, B Hamp, Beat King and Tre Ward. he Los Angeles Convention Center was the place to be on Sunday, July 12th as the annual 2016 DUB Show Tour descended on the City of Angels for what was one of the hottest shows of the year! Our FM radio station partner, Real 92.3, made sure everyone in the Southland knew of our big show which added 60,000 extra square-feet of space, taking over the lobby of the South Hall and adding the Real 92.3 stage at the entrance. Car enthusiasts, car clubs, music lovers and some of your all-time favorite brands came out for the day’s events, which resulted in a show to remember. The name of the game is wheels and there’s never a shortage of that at our shows. Specialty Forged from Miami brought last issue’s cover truck, Project Supremacy, with several custom trucks from Denver and SoCal also wearing their wheels. Savini Forged /GRID Off-Road were not to be outdone as they showcased a combination of exotics and trucks. Forgiato came out with several exotic models as well as some exotic cars. Lexani brought out their rig and displayed their

wall of wheels and cars. Diablo Wheels also had a massive display of their creatively styled wheels, as well as Asanti Wheels who showed off their always-popular rims. Other heavy hitters in the wheel game also were out representing with their respective brands including XIX Wheels, Blaque Diamond, Ace Forged, 2 Crave, Stance Wheels, LRG Rims and 4 Wheel Parts. The largest element of the show is of course the cars, trucks and bikes with a huge representation from some of the biggest and most prestigious car clubs. Nokturnal, Swift, Xplizit, Majestics, Scion Image, Groupe, Aztec Image, High Class, Los Angeles, Pegasus and Menace Car Club from Texas all made a strong showing. Nokturnal took home the “Best Club,”as well as their own Massive Destruction taking home “Best of Show.” Al & Ed’s was awarded the “Best Retail Shop Booth,” bringing out some serious heat. TS Designs was given the “Best Retail Shop Car.” While some come for the cars, others come for the music and this year’s concert stage was off the hook! We had an all-star lineup of
performers, including 50 Cent, Schoolboy Q, Fat Joe and Remy Ma, Jay Rock, French Montana, O.T. Genasis, Migos, Madeintyo and Kent Jones. 50 brought out G-Unit members Tony Yayo, Young Buck and Kidd Kidd to help rock the L.A. crowd which also included celebs such as Ray J, Danny Trejo, Roshon Fegan, Lil Eazy and Kendrick Lamar who came out to watch his TDE family. O.T. Genasis brought Tray Deee from the Eastsidaz, while Remy Ma came out with Papoose from the show “Love and Hip Hop.” This show was without a doubt one of our biggest and made possible by some very important sponsors: Real 92.3, NOS Energy, the Chrysler 300, Nitto Tires and EFFEN Vodka.
