Alumni giving back

On 18th June, we had our first alumni wedding, Daian and Malika got married in Malika’s home country of Uzbekistan. Daian and Malika met when they started with us at Cardiff Sixth Form College in 2018 and have been in love ever since. Since leaving Cardiff Sixth From College in 2020 they have faced life together, including the challenges of university and COVID-19, but their relationship has gone from strength to strength. We are very proud to have been a part of this true love story. Andrei, another of our alumni, was honoured to be a part of this special day and stand beside Daian as his best man. It was important to Daian and Malika to have as many of their fellow Cardiff Sixth Form College alumni as possible present at their wedding so they also had a ceremony in London earlier this summer.
Year 12 students in their new CSFC Cambridge campus and long-standing CSFC Cardiff alumni. It was kicked off with a special evening where the mentors were introduced to their mentees sharing stories, advice and could hear about the amazing successes of the CSFC alumni.
As this special programme grows from strength to strength over the coming terms, we cannot wait to welcome CSFC alumni, both new and old, to join us!

A special event
As some of our alumni missed out on their Graduation Ball due to the pandemic, Cardiff Sixth Form College held a special event for all 2020 and 2021 leavers. This exclusive event took place at the wonderful Eaton Square Senior School in the centre of London. The special evening consisted of drinks and canapés, dancing and games, as well as the opportunity to catch up with some of our valued members of staff and have their photos take in the CFSC photobooth.
Connecting with our community
A vital part of building our alumni community is communication. Our alumni platform allows us to continue to foster relationships with members of the Cardiff Sixth Form College family even after they have left us, providing a forum to share news and connect with peers.
