Christmas is a truly special time of year, a time for making memories, and spending time with friends and family. At DukesHill, we have been helping to make Christmas special for nearly forty years and take enormous pleasure in curating the finest festive delights for our most valued customers.

If you haven’t tried one of our famous hams, then we encourage you to order early to avoid disappointment. Over many years we have maintained our commitment to producing the finest British hams using traditional methods, coupling our special brine recipe with a lengthy curing process to make for the most exceptional taste and exquisite, moist texture – the tastiest hams you’ll find anywhere.

A festive feast would also not be complete without one of our outstanding free-range bronze turkeys reared specifically for us by two dedicated turkey farming families based in Shropshire and Kent. It does mean that when we’ve sold out though, that’s it. We don’t want you to miss out so would encourage you to order early to avoid disappointment.

DukesHill Luxury Christmas Ham

Our limited-edition Luxury Christmas Ham has been created especially for the festive season.

Expertly butchered to remove the bone, we use our traditional Wiltshire Cure, where the hams spend almost a week submerged in our own-recipe brine, before being taken out and allowed to mature for a further week.

The resulting ham has a lovely mild flavour, and a moist, (but never wet!) texture. We add a touch of brown sugar to our brine recipe to give a subtle sweetness to this mild and delicious ham.

Once prepared, we delicately hand-carve a diamond cut pattern across the top of the ham before coating it in our own mixed honey & wholegrain mustard glaze. This is a truly moreish ham and makes for the perfect Christmas centrepiece.

DukesHill was founded with the vision of creating the finest, traditionally cured hams the “old-fashioned way” using top-quality British pork and our own-recipe brine. Our product range may have grown over the years, but our guiding principle of putting flavour and quality before speed or yield remains as strong as ever.

Whole Wiltshire Hams

Ideal for celebrations & family gatherings.

Our best-selling ham has a proud history. In 1841, Elizabeth Harris, the matriarch of a ham curing dynasty based in Calne in Wiltshire, perfected a method of curing pork through immersing the pork legs in brine rather than simply applying dry salt. The result was a delicious ham that is milder in flavour than the distinctly saltier dry-cured hams of long ago.

DukesHill Wiltshire Hams are cured by immersing the whole pork legs for almost a week in our own-recipe brine, to which we add unrefined brown sugar to give a subtle sweetness to this mild and delicious ham. Perfect for all the family.

Free Range Bronze Turkeys

DukesHill’s free-range Bronze turkeys are reared especially for us by two outstanding turkey farmers based in Shropshire and Kent.

Our Kent turkeys are sourced from third-generation turkey farmers. The family-run farm has been rearing turkeys for forty years. The turkeys roam freely in grassy paddocks and meadows of the family farm and are fed a natural cereal-based diet to allow a happy and natural lifestyle.

Our Shropshire Bronze turkeys are reared exclusively for us by Rosie Wadlow. Rosie’s Great Grandmother started rearing turkeys on her family’s Shropshire farm during the Second World War. Imbued with the same passion, her daughter Dora (Rosie’s Grandmother) was aged just seventeen when she went on a trip to Canada and spent all her savings on Bronze turkey eggs to bring back home, becoming the first person to rear Broad Breasted Bronze Turkeys in the UK.

Most so called “dry cured” bacon is made using a process called “cure in the bag”. This prevents weight loss by locking water in the bacon resulting in the nasty goo you get during cooking inferior bacon. Not ours!

Instead we use traditional curing methods and allow the bacon to dry naturally in our drying rooms. This not only means there is no excess water and hence no white goo, but more importantly the flavour is second to none. It freezes perfectly too.

Beluga caviar comes from the Huso huso sturgeon which can reach a maximum length of 8 meters and a weight exceeding 1.5 tons! Originally from the Black Sea, the Caspian Sea and the D’Azov Sea, it was also found in the Adriatic and Ionian.

It is the rarest and hence the most expensive caviar available and is characterized by large eggs (over 3 mm) which tend to be oval, with a colour ranging from pearl grey to dark grey which are harvested from the sturgeon after an average of 20 years.

Extracted from the Russian Sturgeon, a species originally native to the Caspian Sea, Black Sea and Azov Sea. This medium-sized sturgeon can weigh between 20 to 60kg. This high quality caviar is extracted from the roe of the Acipenser Baerii Sturgeon. A medium sized fish weighing between 8 to 40kg, they were originally found in the fluvial basins of Siberia. Grey to amber in colour with an egg size of 2.2 - 2.7mm the roe are harvested after a minimum 8 years. It has a marked and well-rounded flavour. An excellent entry level caviar.

Serving Suggestions

The photographs throughout this brochure show serving suggestions. As you will see, we show our hams decorated in various ways. Unless specifically stated otherwise, your ham will arrive unglazed and ready for you to dress with breadcrumbs (not supplied) or glaze as you prefer.

Placing your order

If placing your order by Freepost, then please be aware that it may take up to three weeks for your order form to arrive with us. If you wish for your order to arrive sooner, to avoid disappointment we recommend to affix a postage stamp and send to Customer Service, DukesHill Ham Company Ltd, Lodge Park, Hortonwood 30, Telford, TF1 7ET

If your order is for a specific date, please arrange for delivery at least a few days before you need it. Remember, all our hams keep well after delivery; it is far better that it sits for a day or two in your refrigerator than not to arrive in time!

You must be 18 years old or over to order or receive wines, beers, spirits and knives. By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.

If gifting a food box or sending a luxury hamper or gift box, we will be happy to forward your personal message. If you wish to send your own note or greeting card, please ensure that it is enclosed with your order form.

Delivery Information

All our products are sent to you fresh and securely packed by next working day delivery, except for smaller items and those going to more remote destinations. Delivery is not guaranteed for any particular time during the day. Please let us know as soon as possible if your order has not arrived.

If we are unable to deliver on the specified day due to adverse weather conditions or other circumstances beyond our control, we will endeavour to deliver at the next earliest opportunity and our liability is limited to this. Please bear in mind that if there are heavy snow falls, delivery drivers may not be able to get through to you until the roads are cleared and that heavy snows may result in backlogs at the delivery depots.

Delivery notifications are issued by text & email (if details are provided).

Sorry, we are not able to deliver on Sundays or Mondays. We cannot deliver to PO Box numbers or send to overseas destinations.
