Mary recounts her journey growing up in a family of ten, struggling with reading, and discovering that books are a window into the world and writing is a way to “have a voice.” 12 - Hogwart’s Express - 2 - 5 pm, Lake Superior Railroad Museum/ The Bookstore at Fitger’s • All aboard for free Harry Potter activities from Kings Cross Station, platform 9 ¾, (The Lake Superior Railroad Museum - 506 W. Michigan St.) to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry (The Bookstore at Fitger’s - 600 E. Superior St.) and back again, taking The Hogwarts Express train. Follow the yellow line to the train museum for activities beginning at 2:00. Hogwarts express leaves Platform 9 ¾ at 2:30 and 3:30. Activities at the platform and Hogwarts for all ages. Free train rides are limited to first come first serve. 13 - Movie: Interactive Viewing of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone - 1 - 4 pm, Green Room • Potterheads won’t want to miss this interactive movie party! Everyone will receive a movie kit with a script and props. We’ll cast spells, eat jelly beans, fly paper airplanes, yell funny phrases to the screen, and much more! From peppermint to lavender, learn about their many health benefits and how to safely use them. Everyone will leave with a small bottle of essential oil. Registration is required.

29 - Movie & Discussion: Alive Inside - 6 - 8 pm • Alive Inside chronicles the astonishing experiences of people living with dementia who have been revitalized through the simple experience of listening to music. The film is a joyous cinematic exploration of music’s capacity to reawaken our souls and uncover the deepest parts of our humanity. The documentary will be followed by a panel discussion with local experts: Jenna Pogorels, Senior Program Manager with the Alzheimer’s Association; Karina Krosbakken, Care Consultant with Age Well Arrowhead; and Karen Bauman, Music Director of the Victory Chorus. 520 W.
