Natural Connections Series • Pre-K to Teen
Natural Connections is an environmental literacy series that offers seasonal activities that invite youth explore and develop their relationships with our plant and animal community members. We kick the series off in the library’s garden space on the upper plaza! Participants will get to meet some of our new garden friends while engaging in a variety of hands-on activities: garden crafts, a STEM activity, and a reading lounge with plant and gardening books!

Teen Adventures: Read & Ride with the Duluth Public Library
Teens in grades 6-12! Spend the afternoon biking, hammocking, and reading a book of your choice.

Invasive Plant Species Identification • Adults
Duluth CISMA Coordinator, Lori Seele, will be presenting on multiple invasive plant species in the area. Learn to identify these plants and the ways to help eradicate them in our yards and neighborhoods. Stuffy Sleepover at the West Duluth Branch
Drop your stuffy off for a sleepover at the library! We will ask participants to complete a short bio for their fluffy friend and make a name tag. That night, your stuffy will have a rockin’ time making new friends, reading stories, and maybe even solving a mystery at the library. Space is limited-please register to reserve your stuffy's sleepover spot. A sleepover storybook will be created and be available for pick up the week of July 8-12.
