Events for the littlest library-goers focus on building a solid reading foundation with songs, rhymes, fingerplays, and learning activities. Baby & Toddler Storytime, Weekly 20 minutes of simple stories and fingerplays for infants to 3-yearolds, with a grown-up. Meet in the Youth Services area. Every Wednesday 10:15 am Preschool Storytime, Weekly 30 minutes of stories, songs and fingerplays for 3-to-5-year-olds. Grown-ups may attend or may treat this as a first independent activity for their preschoolers. Meet in the Youth Services area. Lake Superior Zoomobile: Endangered Species Join us for a visit from the Lake Superior Zoomobile featuring endangered animals. Registration is required. Two sessions available. Sat. Learn to Code with Ozobots Ozobots are tiny robots that you can code using colored markers. Learn the basics of how they work and how to make them do what you want. For kids in grades 1-5 that have never used Ozobots before. Registration required. Sat. March 16 11:00 am-noon Green Room Ozobot Challenge Have you used Ozobots before? If you have, then this event is for you! You will be challenged to solve puzzles with your Ozobot. For kids in Grade 1-5 with Ozobot experience. Registration required. Sat. Royal Blue Room Hogwarts Express All aboard for free Harry Potter activities from Kings Cross Station, platform 9 ¾, (The Lake Superior Railroad Museum - 506 W. Michigan St.) to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry (The Bookstore at Fitger’s - 600 E. Superior St.) and back again, taking The Hogwarts Express train. Follow the yellow line to the train museum for activities beginning at 2:00. Hogwarts express leaves Platform 9 ¾ at 2:30 and 3:30. Activities at the platform and Hogwarts for all ages.
