Storytimes

Baby & Toddler Storytime 20 minutes of simple stories and fingerplays for infants to 3-year-olds, with a grown-up. Meet in Youth Services. Every Wednesday 10:15 am Preschool Storytime 30 minutes of stories, songs, and fingerplays for 3-to-5year-olds. Grown-ups may attend or may treat this as an independent activity for preschoolers. Family Movies It’s a film fest for families with Toy Story 4 at 10:30 am (Rated G; 1h 40m) and Lion King at 2:00 pm (Rated PG; 1h 58m). Fun for the whole family! Sat. Music can lighten the holiday blues, bring warm feelings to a cold winter day, and calm to a stressful time. Christina Cotruvo will play and discuss the American-Celtic harp, a hi-tech Harp Ukulele, and a therapy harp. Winter Reading 2020 January 13 - February 29 Sign up starting Monday, January 13 at www.duluthlibrary.org Winter Reading for Babies, Kids, and Teens Sign up and log reading time to earn prizes! Children and teens earn a free book when they complete 10 hours of reading time. Earn tickets for reading and completing activity badges. The more you read, the more tickets you earn! Put your tickets in for a chance to win one of the grand prizes, including a family membership to the Duluth Children’s Museum, gift certificates to local bookstores, Mountain Money for Spirit Mountain, and more! All tickets must be entered by February 29 to qualify for the grand prize drawings. All prizes must be picked up by March 14. Winter Reading for Adults The more hours you read the more chances you have of winning gift cards to local bookstores! You could also win by writing book reviews and completing the Winter Challenge. Everyone who registers will be eligible to win a gift card to Starbucks.
