Good evening and a warm welcome to players, coaches, and officials of Boroughmuir Thistle for this evening’s Park's Motor Group SWPL2 clash. Boroughmuir are a team we are full of admiration and respect for. We know although we have beaten them twice in both games we have been lucky to take maximum points from those games which shows the magnitude of the game that awaits us this evening, we haven't had a game this season against Suzy Shepherd's side where we've gotten a fright and it will need another big performance to ensure we come away with a positive outcome. The thing that probably pleased me most was the attitude and conduct to deliver a professional performance against Kilmarnock a week past Sunday, Hearts was a sore defeat for the girls. The girls showed great character within the group to do so with a convincing win. We set a big impetus on playing on the front foot and are an attack minded team, who like to score goals and that comes from the goalkeeper and defence which perform a good nucleus for us, being open is something we have to accept when we are playing on the front foot, we work very hard as a team but it's often a lapse in concentration that costs us rather than teams cutting us open and it's something we have spoken about as a collective. Standards and demands are high at this football club and it's important that remains in the business end of the season, Every team is treated in equality with regards to respect and we are thoroughly aware of the task in hand this evening. Tonight is a new experience for everyone and I hope everyone enjoys the game and the experience this evening, It's a fantastic opportunity to come along and see something different, Everyone loves a midweek game under the lights and this shouldn't be any different, hopefully the community of Blairgowrie come out in their droves and cheer the team on. Enjoy the game,
Graeme

Good evening and welcome everyone to tonight’s Park’s Motor Group SWPL2 match against Boroughmuir Thistle. The league table has seen a sequence of swings & roundabouts in recent weeks with sides around us all dropping points, it tells a story that this league is very congested and every side has the same capabilities of winning games & going on a consistent run. We are continuing with the message of focusing on ourselves, we have a tough game tonight against a side we have a lot of respect for. Suzy Shepherd has her teams organised and they are a young and fit side who have shown great quality throughout the season which is reflected in their league position. As a squad, we were pleased that we managed to overcome Kilmarnock with a good all-round team performance. We took our chances well and it was great to see even a few defenders chipping in with goals. One area that we are looking to improve upon for the rest of the season is clean sheets, we were disappointed to concede against Kilmarnock, this is something we are hoping to rectify heading into the business end of the season. Standards and consistency will be crucial I think as the season goes on. We are currently in a great position but the big games keep on coming which continues tonight in a hard game. Everyone within the club is looking forward to playing at Blairgowrie, it will be a new environment for us but we are grateful for the opportunity and I'm sure it'll be a great experience. Midweek games this season have been few and far between so we are excited and looking forward to this one. We hope it will be an opportunity for locals to enjoy the women's game at their local ground. Enjoy the game,
Megan
