Project Overview •
The $165 million Concourse A Expansion Phase II — a capital enhancement project of the airport’s 20-year CLT Master Plan Update — will begin Q2 2022 and wrap up in 2024.

The project will cover 195,000 square feet, delivering a new three-level concourse for ten gates, connected to the existing Expansion Phase I. The new concourse will provide building systems spaces, hold rooms, restrooms, food/beverage/retail concession spaces and telecommunications infrastructure, among its accommodations. It will connect to the existing building via a 1,000-foot connector, which will include baggage conveyor, storage areas, restrooms and moving sidewalks.

The Concourse A Expansion Phase II project will be constructed in different areas as identified in the structural contract documents. The Concourse consists of areas C, D and E while the Connector consists of areas B.2, B.1, A.2 and A.1. The schedule will be broken out into each area in all phases of construction. This will allow JE Dunn/McFarland to properly track the schedule as the job progresses.

Overall Project DBE Goal – 10% Bid Package Specific Goals will be issued for each bid package Goals will be outlined on each specific bid form JE Dunn expects goals to be met or exceeded, but if not, Good Faith Effort documentation must be kept, or bid will be thrown out
DBE Compliance and GFE Bid must include Letter of Intent •
