Through early BIM coordination, we prefabricated all overhead plumbing, and, at the end of the project, only a single bucket of scrap piping remained. We were able to save time and money by starting the structure prior to release of 100% Construction Documents.

these challenges through teamwork and commitment to success with the result being an outstanding new federal courthouse. The building features a variety of radiused panels and column covers - no two sides of the building are exactly alike. The key test came in connecting the pieces that met at complicated geometrical interfaces and provided the detail and precision needed to create the totally smooth look. Since the building is open in the center, there is no center radius point and definition of work points posed many challenges.
