With a great deal of planning, collaboration and concept-sharing with the MCY executives, Nuvolari and Lenard produced a special design filled with features and materials typically reserved for larger yachts. But the Monte Carlo Yachts concept goes much deeper than a beautiful design. With the support of over 100 years of boat building experience, the Beneteau Group assisted in the development of the most sophisticated – and safest – building techniques inspired by generations of real-world research. Elegance and functionality blend together, just like the design and technical olutions. The MCY65 confirms all the appealing elements introduced last season by the MCY76 - the Portuguese deck forward, the radar mast to support the allcarbon T-top of the flybridge, and the splendid glass supports that protect the lateral walkways up to the side entrance to the salon. 20 meters of length give the impression of being aboard a true megayacht. This impression is confirmed in the interior spaces as well. er a build that spanned 15months, Spencer Yachts unveiled their newest fishing machine, the 62foot Marlin Darlin. Shortly a er, the world saw the boat do exactly what it was meant to do, catch fish. In August of 2013, the Marlin Darlin was fishing off the Dominican Republic when a 350pound blue marlin jumped into the cockpit, knocking down the angler. Video was rolling, and showcased the unreal moment. The video went viral, and the world saw the Marlin Darlin for what it is. “I guess it really is a fish magnet!” stated the Spencer Yachts Facebook page. To build a fish magnet, Captain Paul Spencer worked with the future owner of the Marlin Darlin to find out exactly what he wanted to go into his dreamboat. “He owned six or seven pro duc on boats, and between them he knew exactly what he wanted,” stated Capt. Spencer. “He wasn’t interested in the fluff and frills. He wanted a fishing machine that could perform in all condi ons.”
