Hennessey Introduces 1,451 hp Venom GT at SEMA 2015 The SEMA 2015 show had a healthy dose of horsepower from Hennessey Performance, who showed up with a total of 2,875 hp from three cars in their display in Las Vegas. The star of their display was the 2016 Hennesey Venom GT, an improved version of their already potent model. With a total of 1,451 hp on tap, it’s projected that this car will reach a top speed in excess of 280 mph, with a 0-60 mph acceleration time of an estimated 2.4 seconds.

PORSCHE 918 SPYDERS

They are the stuff of legends. And we’re sure Steve McQueen would be amazed. He made the Porsche 917 in Gulf Livery famous in the 1971 action film “Le Mans”. Following suit, on August 27, 2015, Porsche Centre Saskatchewan unveiled two exceptional Porsche 918 Spyders. These 918’s were factory-built and exclusively customized with approval of both Dr. Ing. h.c.F. Porsche AG and Gulf Oil, two historic racing partners of the early 70s. Following its 2013 debut at the Frankfurt International Autoshow, the 918 Spyder captured worldwide press with its designer, innovative plug-in hybrid concept and super sports car performance. It shattered the Nürburgring Nordschleife lap record by an astonishing 14 seconds, posting a 6 minute, 57 second run. With V8 and hybrid system combined, the 918 has a total output of 887 hp. “The 918 is, by any stretch of the imagination, a supercar,” says owner Vaughn Wyant. Porsche limited production to 918 units and those with the Spyder Weissach package boldly took things to an extreme level: weight reduction of 41 kg, additional use of carbon fibre, titanium and ceramics, lightweight magnesium wheels, lightweight sport bucket seats, carbon interior and lightweight doors. It took some time to convince Porsche AG to accommodate factory production of these two supercars in such exacting detail (factory paint in period correct Gulf Livery colours is the first in factory since 1971). Each 918 Spyder engine was hand built by a single technician over 20 hours. The details are meticulous: Gulf logo embossed in the seatbacks, custom-painted brake calipers, factory paint with the Gulf brand,

custom upholstery and more. These cars transcend the normal supercar. Wyant plans to keep one vehicle for his private collection. The other? The world stage will be its market to someone with an appetite for a rare, high-end and collectible performance automobile. ince Bugatti was founded, they have been crafting fine automobiles built around power, style and luxury. in 2011, the French automaker unveiled a one-off car that combines these three traits into one automotive spectacle. The Veyron Grand Sport L'Or Blanc was created through a partnership between Bugatti and Kรถnigliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin (KPM), the legendary porcelain manufacturer with 250 years of heritage. When the L'Or Blanc was released, it was the world's first

car to ever be equipped with porcelain, making it an instant piece of automotive history. Around the car, from its exterior to its interior, porcelain components highlight the already stunning Grand Sport. On the outside, the center wheel badges, oil and fuel filler caps, as well as the signature rear "EB" badge, all feature porcelain. Inside, the material can be found most notably in the intarsia fixed to the rear panel between the seats and on the dish in the top of the center console, featuring the famous

elephant created by Rembrandt Bugatti. To draw eyes in to the finer details of this breathtaking car is the unique blue and white exterior paint design. The dancing lines of the contrasting colors were created by the Bugatti Design Studio. They spent weeks analyzing how light reflected off of the car, taping off the design with a precision tape made from Japanese soft tissue, allowing for delicate hand removal. Once the design was finalized, three weeks were spent filling in the blue paint over the pre-painted white body.

To protect the paint and give the hypercar a brilliant shine, five layers of clear lacquer were applied. Now, after the car has become famous for its combination of power and art, it's available for sale through Refined Marques. One lucky collector now has the chance to own one of Bugatti's finest creations and call it their own.

Bugatti has released a short documentary video detailing the story of its one-off Veyron L'or Blanc, a supercar dressed in the finest of porcelain. For Bugatti, building the car was the realization of an exceptional idea, one that stayed true to the brand’s goal of the utmost in quality and aesthetics. The result also meant that Bugatti was able to stay true to the practices of its brand founder, Ettore Bugatti, who himself loved to experiment with new materials. The exterior of the 1,001-horsepower, Veyron L'or Blanc is still surfaced in a mix of aluminum and carbon fiber, but has been painted using the same patterns and techniques employed by the artisans at German porcelain designer Königliche Porzellan-Manufatur Berlin (KPM). Many of the finer details, like the wheel center caps, fuel filler cap and interior trim pieces, were all fashioned by KPM from porcelain, most of it designed by hand.
