HAPPENINGS Story DAN & KIM
ENGAGEMENT Kim and I met while I was on a road trip with friends traveling down the east coast from Boston to Miami. During our stop in Myrtle Beach we paused for a few drinks in a bar where I met Kim who had been spending the day shopping with her sister. We got along great, and after two nights of company Kim headed back to Brooklyn where she lives while my friends and I continued to our final destination, Miami, then London. Within a week I was back to New York from London, visiting Kim and many more flights on Delta would follow for a few years before we finally got married (the first time) in the Bellagio, Las Vegas. However we didn’t have family around us like we wanted; so once my visa had cleared we had another ceremony this time with family right here in Brooklyn and at Dyker Beach Golf Club. A big change from Las Vegas but this time we had over 100 guests, a lovely outdoor ceremony and of course a feast fit for a King, well a bunch of Italians and an Englishman at least. Since we got married at Dyker Beach everyone remembers the food and the fantastic surroundings which made the whole day one to remember for all. Carlo was super accommodating and ordered in my favorite German beer, Bitbuger of which I did my best to finish alone. We both really enjoyed the organization and professionalism of everyone at Dyker Beach that made the day go smoothly and without a hitch. I enjoyed working with the team at Dyker Beach so much that I now ply my trade there as a photographer, which is a huge testament to the people that put together events without any fuss or hassle. Very much looking forward to shooting many more weddings there, which I have fond memories of.
