Women's Basketball TAME Trip to Ireland
ETBU Women's Basketball traveled to Northern Ireland for the sixteenth Tiger Athletic Mission Experience (TAME) trip for the University. The studentathletes and coaches served local primary schools, held a daily team devotional, competed with local Irish teams, and spread God's love over the ten-day mission trip.
"We came into this experience thinking we were going to change the lives of people in Northern Ireland, which I believe we did, but found out quickly how this experience transformed us from the inside out," said ETBU Head Women's Basketball Coach Blake Arbogast. "I truly believe that the 'mission' of this trip wasn't just to serve in the communities of Northern Ireland, but to
prepare our hearts to be better than when we left to come back and serve the communities of East Texas Baptist University and Marshall, Texas."
