ETBU Recognizes 2024 Riley Servant Lead ers
East Texas Baptist University recognized senior Skylar Bussing and junior Levi Endris with the Bob and Gayle Riley Servant Leadership Award in a special chapel service on October 9. President Emeritus Bob Riley and his wife Gayle were on campus to celebrate the award recipients. The Bob and Gayle Riley Servant Leadership Award is a yearly recognition bestowed
upon two upperclassman students who embody the principles of the servant leadership of Jesus Christ. These exceptional individuals are nominated by their peers, faculty, and staff in honor of their commitment to Christ-centered servant leadership.

Homecoming 2024
ETBU's Homecoming 2024 was a remarkable weekend, extending a warm welcome to alumni and friends on campus Friday, October 18, through Saturday, October 19. The festivities commenced with a special Homecoming Chapel service, which included the recognition of the Class of 1974, the 2024 Golden Blazers, and Homecoming Award honorees. Throughout the two-day celebration, the Tiger Family enjoyed activities such as a Jazz Band Concert, Tiger Pep Rally, Late Night Breakfast, Decade Reunions, and the Tiger Family Carnival and Tailgate. The weekend ended with the crowning of the Homecoming King and Queen and an ETBU Tiger Football victory.

Andi Diaz graduated in 2006 from ETBU with a degree in Elementary Education. After nine years of teaching, she felt God calling her into the business world, and she now serves as the Senior Marketing Manager of Communication and Events for Integrity in Dallas.
