Alumni Spotlight
Dr. Kemi Fadayomi (’80) graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from ETBU. She went on to earn a Master of Science in Biology/Microbiology from Stephen F. Austin State University and eventually a PhD in Biology/Immunology from the University of North Texas. This led to a successful career in higher education. The lessons and skills she learned at ETBU established a foundation of learning to become a successful leader in her field as she taught in the college classroom for 24 years and is now an educational consultant.
“My time at ETBU prepared me for my career as a professor in many ways. Academically, I learned how to think critically, developed an in-depth understanding of biology and the
scientific process, and a passion for learning that I was able to share with my students. Overall, my time on the Hill was transformative and rewarding.”

In the same way that pillars provide strength and support to numerous buildings on campus, members of the PILLARS OF ETBU bolster and fortify the Christ-centered mission and on-going Kingdom work of the University through monthly giving. Pillars found on many historic buildings across the ETBU campus, including Marshall Hall, Craig Hall, Harvey Bruce Hall, Feagin Hall, Carlile Hall, Murphy Hall, Jarrett Library, Chapel on the Hill,

Pillars of ETBU choose the area of the University where their monthly contributions can have the most impact, including student scholarships, academic departments, athletics, student missions, or general support to the institution. No matter the area of support selected, monthly gifts always make a significant contribution toward the vibrant Christcentered education provided at ETBU.
