Join us for the Great East Texas Hymn Sing on Friday, September 20, 2024, at 1:30 p.m. in Baker Chapel. Each year, the University community and individuals and church groups from Texas and surrounding states gather in the Rogers Spiritual Life Center to praise the Lord through hymns, fellowship, and sacred songs. This FREE event draws hundreds of participants each year for a meaningful afternoon of praise and worship.

Alumni Spotlight

Chelsea (Jenkins) Christopher ('09) is the Director of Recruitment at East-West Ministries International, where she has served for nearly 13 years. She invites others to join the mission to share the gospel and plant churches among unreached people groups.

Chelsea's time on the Hill was formative for her life and career. “My time at ETBU provided me with an education in a Christian environment that deepened my faith in Jesus. When I visited campus during my junior year of high school, I was immediately impressed by the warmth and friendliness of everyone I encountered. There was a sense of belonging, and I knew I wanted to be a part of ETBU’s unique community."
