ENCODE Furniture© is an award-winning furniture design and production firm, founded by a group of internationally acclaimed designers and architects, who have developed a distinct edge in digital design and production. With a network of collaborators and research partners spanning across 3 continents, our award-winning designers have lectured, exhibited and conducted collaboration projects with partners in Alexandria, London, Vienna, Paris and Beijing over the past few years only.
Behind the scenes of our furniture pieces lies a real laboratory of design. Our sister company, ENCODE Design Studio, is ceaselessly researching the world’s latest design systems and fabrication technologies to push the boundaries of modern design as we know them today.

Ornamatics Collection Patterns have been always a distinctive part of our daily life products, whether it is ornamental or functional, it often embeds cultural and historical values. Islamic patterns evolved over centuries while branding our heritage not only as an art/craft object but also as a geometrical and mathematical innovation. The evolution of the legacy is fading due to the shortage of craftsmanship and also for the lack of development of its design/mathematics. Encode challenges the reviving of the valuable legacy by exploring new path ways through experimentation in cutting edge mathematical design systems and fabrication techniques. Encode introduce as series of Islamic patterns that incorporate the traditional themes with contemporary and modern spirit, colors and materials, creating masterpieces of high expressive value and functionality. A complete collection of furniture, characterized by geometric shapes of strong aesthetic effects aiming to stimulate the viewer eye to reveal the hidden order of the patterns and its shadows, and to encourage the collective emotional response that the act of meditation inspires. The pattern system is introduced through a wide range of scales and materials suitable for many applications .

W 50 x D 50 x H 94 Chairs which interpret ethnic memories in modern key . Construction of sides and base are in 36 mm plywood covered with walnut Oak veneer. The back is in four perforated layers of 3 mm plywood covered with Oak walnut veneer. The base is upholstered and covered with light blue grayed cotton based fabric.

60 x 190 cm ( 3 panels ) Ornamatics paravents incorporate the traditional Arabic Mashrabeya with modern spirit .The paravent is composed of three rectangular Panels with perforated ornaments in 6 layers of 6 mm plywood with walnut veneer and matte luster finishing. The three panels are assembled by 9 metal hinges.

Series of cabinets - with doors and/ or drawers characterized by door decorated with ornaments profile. Construction in solid Beech wood on four legs. The three doors are in (18+6 mm) plywood and coveredwith walnut oak veneer with ornaments. Top and sides are in 18mm plywood and covered with walnut oak veneer. Back in 3 mm plywood in luster matt finishing. One 12mm plywood shelf is included inside in luster matt finishing.

Parallel Collection ‘Encode panels’ is a collection of innovative wall cladding system that creates graceful interior and exterior features with modular panels in wood and GRC. The cladding systems come in modules that can be arranged in standard and innovative organization to accommodate areas of any size, different cooperate and residential spaces, and can be easily installed onsite. Ten different designs have been carefully studied to enable their assembly in unique organizations from simple and modern to retro and complex patterns. The Hull Bench PB-001 W 300 x D 75 x H 70 The Deck’s curves are derived from water flux and whale skeleton, inspiring yet comfortable for seating, laying and relaxing. 125 piece of high quality plywood are digitally designed, milled and finished by hand with eco-friendly outdoor coating for a unique piece of art. Bench made​of plywood sections 12 mm thick, fastened together with iron rods, which are wound on the mounting bolts.

Inspired from smooth wind blowing over the water surface, the wall is a distinctive art work in a seven meter long assembly. The design is carefully studied where the wind effect is gradually and smoothly growing over the surface from a single wrinkle to complex ripples. The interesting Shadows created by the ribs change not only the form but also the perception of the wood colours and veneer tones creating and original value to the wall art. The perception of form, lights and shadows changes dynamically in relevance to the viewer angle in a moirĂŠ-effect.
