gy replaces the existing river buffer wall with a olluted river water and an ephemeral landscape ter to enter the site. By thermal coupling the protract heat from the existing transport infrastrucm are used in the spa landscape. The purpose of te a new dialogue between Infrastructure, Enviand the citizens of Taipei.

Technological Strategy Addressing the issue of the urban heat island surrounding Taipei, this proposal utilizes the increasing wasted heat from the transport infrastructure and transforms it to energy by adopting the technology of thermoelectricity. This technology is based on the potential temperature difference between river water and the transport infrastructure. The two products from this heat extraction process, hot water and steam, are used in the spa landscape for control of transparency. The level of heat extracted depends on the level of transport and circulation through the new Taipei Main Station at a particular moment and the amount of hot water and steam depends on the flow of water from the river. 03-1 Technological Strategy
