Dear Parents, carers and all in the Chessington community

Happy New Year! I think I can probably just about get away with saying that I do hope that you and your families had a restful break over the Christmas holidays.

YEAR 11

We have been back for just two weeks and already so much has taken place. It was a pleasure to be in the Year 11 Mock results assembly, where Ms Jacob gave an incredibly motivational presentation which was based on her own experiences as a student and how she overcame obstacles along the way. Miss Swaysland outlined all of the excellent support, care and guidance that Chessington staff will put in place for the students to be successful This included launching the revise for prize initiative which could result in a lucky student winning their Prom ticket! We also had Year 11 Parents Evening which had record breaking attendance, great to see so many parents engaging with our teachers and how to ensure the best possible outcomes In a few weeks they will have their second set of mocks which will give a good indication of progress made from

Gold ties were awarded for outstanding progress made from Year 10 exams - the 5 awesome students were:

PE DEPARTMENT
