Earth aligns with Universal Consciousness A PLEIADIAN MESSAGE

Beloved ones, we greet you. An origin source light from the God consciousness element is flowing onto the Earth plane.

This light carries a profound life frequency potential designed for the self-discovery and consciousness for humanity.

Within the planet there is the action of quickening from an energetic imprint that is being forged through this light. This is accessing the next level of transition within the “new dawning” of Earth.

In late July, the Sun further repositioned itself in relationship to Earth, creating the activation of a series of powerful rays that penetrated the central magnetic core of the planet. The rotation of the planet shifted in that moment, opening up this imprint of consciousness, activating this quickening that has begun transmitting from the core of the Earth outwards across the planet and within the Universe.

This happening heralds in a new beginning as the Earth’s energy undergoes a total reset.

COMPLETE RESONANCE Your Earth plane has been opened up, and aligned through a multidimensional frequency within our resident Universe.

For the first time there is a complete multidimensional resonance between Earth and the rest of the Universe.

This is a significant happening within the Universe and for Earth. And for the first time Earth is in a direct energetic frequency alignment to the consciousness that exists within our Universe. No matter how things appear to the ego mind, you can move beyond the illusion by simply being in each moment.

Choose to unwrap, explore each moment as it arises as a gift. This will assist you to unfold within the experience of life’s challenges and move into an understanding that you are on a grand adventure. By choosing to move into a state of acceptance of what is right in front of you now in your life, you enable your life to shift and flow more easily. You are being asked to slow down and breathe, to trust what is unfolding within your life right now. You need to be committed to the ordinary moments within your life and take the time to be fully conscious by embracing that, which is held within those experiences. As you do this you begin to glimpse, to understand the Truth, which is revealed within the ordinary.

ORDINARY MOMENTS Focus on building a strong base within you through a dedication to align within the mundane, and explore the vast potential within those “ordinary” moments of your life. This is an essential building block for you, allowing you to expand that base and move towards becoming the plain, rather than the mountain.

There is great joy in this dedication where you meet the sacred within your self.

The ego mind will want to become grand, to be seen, to become the mountain! It is within the ordinary moments of life that the greatest truths will be revealed to you.

You don’t have to have all the answers.

Your ego mind thinks it knows the solutions and understands it all — and it does not.

The ego’s agenda is constructed through a deluded enthusiasm. Solutions proposed by the ego mind arise from misperceptions and incorrect assessments of what is really taking place. You get caught between fear and doubt with your ego mind’s constant opinions and need to understand. Then

What is your earliest intuitive experience that you can remember?

Kayla Michaele: First, I would like to make the definition between “intuitive” and “psychic,” because there is an important difference. Intuitive is the access that we have to our inner knowing. This is our soul speaking to us, our ability to tap into the Universal consciousness of our own soul. This resides in our solar plexus and is usually referred to as our gut feelings.

Psychic, on the other hand, comes from outside sources: angels, spirit guides, astral beings, loved ones that have passed, etc. The information is accessed through our crown chakra and is coming from the Universal consciousness of other beings/ souls. As a psychic, I lean on my intuition but most of the information is coming from these other beings/souls.

Intuitive is an easier word for some people to accept, but I feel it important to give credit where credit is due and that is the psychic realm! It is a beautiful collaboration of distinct and loving energies.

People ask me all the time, when did I know I was psychic? There wasn’t a real “ah ha” moment… but events that led up to an awakening. When I was a child I always seemed to know things about people. Like, were they telling the truth (intuitive)?

What kind of mood they were in (intuitive) or sometimes if things were going to happen to them (psychic).

When I was in third grade, I had a strong vision about boy in my class named Scottie. The vision was of him hurting his hand during a baseball game. I had a crush on him and started daydreaming about how I could come to his rescue and he would fall in love with me and we would spend the rest of our lives together — we all know that fairytale!

So, I packed up some wet Kleenex and BandAids (like 30 of them) and set off to the playground.

There wasn’t anyone there. I waited and waited. It must have been for over an hour. But no baseball game ever started and I was alone. Finally I went home, crying from confusion and heartbreak. I couldn’t understand why he wasn’t there. How could I have seen this in my head and felt the injury? I knew he was hurt, I just knew it.

That was a Saturday. On Monday I went to school, feeling completely foolish and hoping that Scottie wouldn’t know what I had done (because I didn’t understand that not everyone knew what I did or couldn’t “pick up” on things/events like I could).

When Scottie walked in, my embarrassment

quickly changed to elation. You see, his right hand was all bandaged up. Apparently he had been hit on the knuckles with the baseball and his entire hand was bruised up. He had been injured like I saw, but it had happened at a different ball park than the one that I went to.

What intuitive experience continues to give you goose bumps to this day?

My hair is constantly standing up because Spirit is continually surprising me. Every time that a really cool connection is made it still puts me in awe. Just this last week I had a client who wanted to connect with her son who had passed. Now he came to me dressed in white — white shirt, pants and shoes.

He pointed down to his shoes and they melted off of his feet. Then he pointed up to his head and a halo began to glow behind him. I then saw that his hands were placed in the shape of a triangle under his chin and over the middle of his chest as if he was deep in thought. It was beautiful.

I described to his mother what I was seeing and tried to impress that it felt like he wanted her to envision him like this. I also told her that he made me feel as if I was supposed to get on my phone and find that picture of him that he was showing me. It was then that his mother started sobbing as she reached for her phone. She cried out that she was thinking about having a painting made of him and she showed me the portrait that was her inspiration. And there it was, a picture of a young male angel in a white outfit, bare feet, holding his hands in the form a triangle over his chest.

My mouth dropped. Again and again I am agog with how Spirit can breach the planes and contact us in such a loving and descriptive manner. This is why I do what I do: to be able to work with Spirit to bring joy and peace to people is incredible and humbling.

When did you decide to become a professional intuitive, and what inspired that decision?

About 12 years ago I came in contact with four beautiful women who, like me, were exploring our abilities and searching for deeper meaning to the Spirit realm. We were led to work together, as a group, to provide insight to the community.

Imagine, we thought, if one psychic is cool, how amazing would five psychics working together be? So we created Psychics in the Cities. It was a beautiful and powerful way to work, with support of each other and in concert with the Universal energies.

As the group changed and grew it became time for me to move on to my own endeavors and I passed the baton onto a former student  see KAYLA on p. 10

so that they could continue to grow and change in the way it needed to. Taking the step to separate was scary, but it was needed for my spiritual growth, as well as my psychic development. I knew that the Universe had other plans for me and it hasn’t let me down yet!

What do you want everyone to know about the work you do?

I used to say that I connect with the angels and spirit guides of each client to receive information about their current questions surrounding their life.

But now it has changed a bit.

I am finding that the information is going to be the same whether I work with angels or guides. This is because it is all around soul energy.

I defiantly continue to work with the human aspect of people, but more and more those searching for a higher meaning, spiritual explanation and direction are coming to me. It isn’t so much more about “When will my house sell?” as it is about what is holding me back from moving forward? Those earthly things are important, don’t get me wrong, but it’s becoming more about the soul growth side of our human experience.

It’s lovely and amazing and I’m blessed to be a light worker — working in and with the elevation that is happening all around us. Before each session, I ask that the Universal consciousness and the soul of each client work with me to receive and give over information that is clear, concise, and accurate and for the highest good of those that sit with me.

What insight have you recently received from spirit that you’d like to share with Edge readers?

Oh my gosh, there is so much!

I think that one powerful message is that now is the time to stretch our understanding on what spiritual soul growth is

to be for us while here on Earth at this time.

As we travel through our soul’s life plan, we are given experiences that we/our soul have set up. Each experience brings us the opportunity to move through those emotions that are holding us back. So, if we struggle, let’s say, with abandonment, then we will be given experiences to feel that emotion. The goal is to no longer be triggered to feel the emotion of abandonment.

As we no longer are triggered, those experiences will not come into our path. Now, on a much more global level, this translates beautifully.

They say we have left the Age of Pisces and have entered the Age of Aquarius. Pisces was about authority and individuality — ”I’ve just gotta be me!” “How far can I go within Earthly material matters?” “I am just as important as you are!” Aquarius is more about “Actually, we ARE all the same, just different interpretations of this sameness (Soul Energy).”

We are connected in each and every way. We don’t need to be seen as an individual, we just need to be that individual without the fear of being judged (thus putting up the illusion that we are separate).

So, if we can watch events unfold in our daily lives, sense what these things or people trigger within ourselves and move through that emotion, then we don’t feed into the crazy world events. The events of separation are the last gasps of the Age of Pisces — the death rattle, so to say. If we don’t feed into it, then it can move further away and be absorbed by the Universe.

This doesn’t mean we shouldn’t stand up or help those in need, but it must be done without the need to be right or heard. We should be doing it from a space of nonreaction, being connected, through peace and love. As we Aquarians say, “Man, can’t we all just get along?” a

Enjoy this incredible Veggie Bowl FOOD FIRST

by Nutrition Julie One of the best things about late summer and fall is all of the lovely vegetables that are perfect for roasting!

This recipe balances the warm, grounded earthy feeling of the fall veggies, with the light, freshness of a pesto-like Chimichurri Sauce. Serve in individual bowls over rice (or quinoa) and enjoy!

ROASTED VEGGIE BOWL WITH CHIMICHURRI SAUCE Roasted Tofu and Veggies: 14 or 15 oz. block extra-firm tofu, patted dry and cubed 6 cups Brussel Sprouts, washed and halved 4 carrots, sliced into bite sized chunks 1 yellow or white onion, sliced 1/2 tsp Himalayan or sea salt 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/4 tsp black pepper 5 T olive oil 3 tsp apple cider vinegar Chimichurri Sauce: 6 T raw, shelled pumpkin seeds 1/2 cup water 2 cups packed fresh cilantro leaves 1 tsp dried oregano 2 garlic cloves 1 tsp Himalayan salt or sea salt 4 T rice vinegar 4 T olive oil 2 tsp maple syrup Brown Rice: Follow package directions to make four servings. (Can make ahead and reheat if you wish.)

Preheat oven to 425°F. In a large bowl, place tofu, Brussel sprouts, carrots, onion, salt, pepper, garlic powder, olive oil, and apple cider vinegar and gently toss to combine, making sure to evenly coat the tofu and vegetables.

Spread the tofu and veggie mixture evenly onto two baking sheets. Roast for 20 minutes, stirring halfway through and roast until the Brussel sprouts and tofu are slightly browned.

To make the chimichurri sauce, place the pumpkin seeds in a food processor and process for about 30 seconds, until finely ground. Add the remaining chimichurri ingredients and process another 30-60 seconds until well combined.

resistance arises where you find yourself in life, discontent through the misperceptions of the ego, that you are caught up within the mundane.

What is needed right now is for you to choose to bring your awareness to meet the feelings that arise through these challenges.

Bring a dedication to the moment, into the experience that is right in front of you. As you allow the reality of meeting the feeling within you, there is a pure potential of selfliberation.

BREAKING OLD CYCLES By accepting the part you have played within your own creation, change can take place.

This is because the energy of the illusion is neutralized and you are breaking old cycles through taking responsibility for your own journey. You cease playing the old role of victim. However intense a situation may be, change can always take place.

By claiming your creation of an experience, you can transform the energy of the situation and move through the illusion, opening to clarity, to Truth. As you meet this moment and consciously choose to accept what is right in front of you there is a new potential available within the situation that flowers. This whole process is the action of your conscious movement, which in reality is self-devotion to your journey, to your own path.

Through self-reflection and your own perseverance, you can transform and feel steady on your path, bridging the depth of your fears. Know that within your own heart you are being held by the sacred of your Higher Self. As you are willing to feel, you are moved beyond the illusion. There is always clarity that can arise from the vastness of your heart. A simple solution can present itself around any problematic situation.

JOY AND PEACE Humility of acceptance for where you find yourself and what is right in front of you is where joy and peace will arise within you.

Inspiration to follow a path because you see, sense, feel or you simply have a knowingness that it is correct, this is where you meet a deep and profound aspect of your inner wisdom. As you work patiently and steadily on balancing your inner discipline and correcting your attitude through claiming your creation, you will find the obstructions that stand between you and your goals will simply dissolve.

Your life has deep meaning within the Universe, and through the building of collective “moments” of your inner gratitude you can become an inspiration that is created for others to follow through your own conscious action.

This entire process of your life involves

being open to the hidden and diverse ways in which the divine flow works within your life. You need to be willing and prepared to walk this warrior’s path, which is designed to bring to you the depth of teaching and understanding of your humanness and reveal the sacred part of Self.

You must patiently wait for your next step to be revealed. As you take the position of “active waiting,” revelations can be opened up to you. Actively waiting enables you to move into a place of stillness that aligns you to receive understandings and Truth for your next steps. The ego mind will want to move, to do something. Just breathe, let go and simply wait for clarity, for a door to open. You will be moved naturally, effortlessly within the rhythm of your sacred flow.

SLOWING DOWN Indeed, your every-day scenario provides all that you need to grow and to discover your life’s meaning. Through a slowing down and moving into a state of acceptance of all that is in front of you now, you become liberated to find your way. Through the self-acceptance of your own creation, you can begin to shine forth within your world, forging a path for others to follow their flow.

Have reverence for your warrior path and take solace by loving your human vulnerability. Know that your ancestors who have gone before you, who have preceded you on the spiritual path, have forged the path for you to follow. Understand that they were no better equipped than you, and they have experienced their own dynamics, within the same trials as you experience now.

Your world is transforming and you can celebrate your path. Do not be discouraged for what you perceive through the illusion.

Within a moment the veils will lift and the illusion will be no more and all Truth will be revealed. Utilize this time frame on Earth, and know that within a blink of an eye everything will change.

You can alter your reality now by simply choosing to be in the moment and cherish what you have created for your own unfolding. Claim your moments, for each one is sacred. Open into the vastness of your potential through your heart with gratitude.

WORRY

Tips to help you keep worry at bay in your life

by Melissa Lewis It has become common, acceptable and even comforting to worry. Most people don’t truly enjoy the uneasy or panicky feeling of worry, but its incessant use continues. It may be that we think worrying about someone shows love or that the behavior is so ingrained in our minds that we feel we cannot stop it. Our society reinforces the behavior by making it socially acceptable to worry and ask others if they are worried.

Worrying can be minimized or eliminated. Here are a few suggestions to banish this hurtful emotion from taking over: • Acknowledge the behavior. Become aware of how much you are worrying.

Notice what this pattern is doing to your mental and emotional space.

• Learn and realize the emotion of worry. Worrying is generally an unproductive thought process. It can often bring more issues to your awareness.

• Begin the mental change process. Change the word worry to concern. For example you can change “I am worried about my child’s progress in school” to “I am concerned about my child’s progress in school.”

• Act on the new thought process. Learn to have faith that you can deal with any situation that arises in your future. Be mindful of your current behaviors. Realize that there is a cause and effect to your thoughts, words and actions.

August Horoscope: Refill, Review MERCURIAL MESSAGES THROUGH THE ZODIAC

It’s going to be a busy autumn so let’s use August to refill and review to be ready to act. Six planets retrograde (appear to move backwards) through most of August and slow us down, sending us back to reconsider our position, finish unfinished business, and tend to important side agendas; perfect for the vacation time. Only Venus, Sun and Moon stay direct, which encourages us to follow our heart and be true to ourselves — whatever happens.

If we struggle to push ahead and try to make things happen this month, snafus pile up. Even if we feel industrious in the summer heat, environmental and technical snags, minor accidents or old interpersonal issues can complicate.

Misunderstandings worsen if we push, but soften if we keep our ears and hearts open.

Retrogrades are good for manifesting what should have been done a long time ago, so it furthers to repair the past and do what we’ve always wanted to do. But for future projects, gather wisdom and imagination now and wait to initiate until September begins.

Prioritize grace and safety as Mars squares Uranus August 1 and begins the month with a bang. A solar eclipse at 18° Leo on August 11 can precipitate a dénouement; we’ll need to express ourselves but remember, the stories of each person around us matters as much as our own, no more nor less. We may feel turbulence as Mercury turns direct August 19 and Mars turns direct August 27, but momentum picks up soon afterwards.

Aries (Mar. 21-Apr. 19)…Put gentleness and safety first in early August. You may need to step into moments of leadership at work, but otherwise prioritize your creative and emotional life now. Focus on children and tender family issues from the past. Be ready to roll after August 27.

Taurus (Apr. 20-May 20)…Garden your fields nicely; look for abundance as crops of all types come in after August 6 as Venus enters Libra. Then tend foundational issues, both in your home and symbolically in your life, around the August 11. Stand by people who need you after August 25.

The Soul’s Journey, Emotions & Our Health The Edge Interview with Healer Warren King

by Tim Miejan There are doctors who offer some holistic alternatives, and then there are holistic doctors. Warren King, L.Ac., who has practiced Oriental Medicine for more than 25 years and in that span of time has worked with more than 10,000 patients, always keeps an eye on the big picture as he tries to resolve health concerns at the root cause.

In addition to acupuncture, King offers related holistic treatments including auricular medicine, homeopathy, detailed custom-made diets, herbs and nutritional products. He recently added one more powerful tool to his repertoire — Quantum Neuro Reset Therapy — and that piece, he says, makes all the difference. Calling it “an amazing process,” Dr . King notes that this therapy is reducing the number of special diets and supplements that he needs to prescribe.

The native of Queens, New York, grew up in Green Neck, Long Island, and is the son of an eye surgeon and stay-at-home mom.

He studied at the New England School of Acupuncture, the Kushi Institute in Boston and the Midwest Center of Oriental Medicine in Chicago. He has been in private practice for the last 20 years in Minnetonka, MN, and is the author of Love Your Organs, Love Yourself, a primer on Chinese Medicine that gives readers a more clear understanding of what their organs are telling them.

Dr. King continues to evolve as a healer and person. This year marks two notable changes: the publication of a second book, The Soul’s Journey, a novel that explores a soul’s preparation for rebirth, and the creation of an online community to offer expanded support for those seeking wellness. The Edge spoke with Dr. King about his journey as a healer, his new book and how he is using the internet to offer more support to his patients.

What were your aspirations when you were young? Did you want to become a doctor like your dad?

Warren King: Yes. When I went to Cornell University I didn’t know what to do. In biology there is a stem cell that can become any other cell, and I thought if I choose one thing it would close all these other doors, and I didn’t want to close any doors. After a while I had to declare a major, so it was pre-med.

But then I started studying about spirituality and energy and all sorts of things and I ended up dropping out of Cornell and just trying to find myself. I ended up going to Santa Cruz and studying psychology, and 1 6 W W W. E D G E M A G A Z I N E . N E T

of their own health?

What I do is put it all together. I have many tools. Some people need homeopathy, some people need herbs, some people need vitamins, and every person is different.

Right now folks need more understanding about the emotional causes. All of the organs and meridians are associated with different emotions, and I find that past traumas and unresolved emotional issues are often what is behind these physical dysfunctions. When you work on emotional trauma I find people need perhaps only two or three remedies, when in the past we used to use maybe seven or eight.

ONLINE THIS MONTH: Read Warren King’s article on our Featured Topic, Holistic Resources for Anxiety & Depression, at Edgemagazine.net then after that I got into acupuncture. I felt so much energy and clarity that I had to study this, so I became an acupuncturist.

Now, I don’t even do that much acupuncture anymore. I look more of the root cause of things, usually emotional trauma, or what the hidden parts of the disease are.

I listened to your free weekly Warren Talk on your website where you talk about your personal path as a healer. I found it interesting that your father quit the American Medical Association when it recognized chiropractic.

Yeah, so he thought I would never be able to make a living doing this natural stuff, especially Chinese medicine. He said if I’m not Chinese, who would ever see me. He didn’t have much faith in it because he was very much into Western medicine, but I had to follow my inner voice — and I’m so glad I did.

Hopefully those differences in opinion didn’t affect your relationship that much.

Well, he ended up not living very long.

I think a lot of emotional baggage may have contributed to his decline, but he helped me pay for my Chinese medical school after a while, so we found some agreement.

As a healer who truly defines what a holistic practitioner is, what do you see as the largest gap right now in the public’s understanding

I read a little bit about Quantum Neuro Reset Therapy. Can you tell us a little bit about how that works in the healing process?

I started using it four years ago and am doing it on many people. It is very complex, and when it is being done, it looks quite strange because there are multiple things happening, sensing and lasers and passing the head and saying affirmations and going down the organs. It allows us to find out where the emotional trauma is in the brain, what the trauma or event was, who it was with, and then through this new process you can very quickly clear it out of the nervous system, which relieves a lot of the stress on the adrenals and on the brain and all the organs.

Do you see any movement of established Western medicine toward the holistic model?

Yes, more and more patients are coming in after their medical doctor told them to take acidophilus or fish oil, so I think they’re slowly learning that the new research is real.

They’re learning about the microbiome and how bad antibiotics are for people and the side effects of medicine. They are starting to slowly learn. At the same time, I think the natural health community has to go more to the root cause of your pain and go deeper into the emotional issues and the traumas in the brain.

What is your greatest concern, personally, now regarding health care in America?

I think the expense. Maybe it’s good that it is getting so expensive that people really have no choice. They can’t really afford to be sick.

So, I think instead of health insurance to be health assurance, people have to really work on themselves, their psychology, their health, their diet and lifestyle, and exercise and meditation, and all of these tools, because it is getting too expensive to be sick.

I think that’s the motivation.

A lot of people say, “I better lose this weight and clear my body of toxins with cleansing and fasting.”

I think it’s going to goad people to find more of the root causes of why they’re not feeling well. They’re really learning that most Western medicine just masks the symptoms, and people are waking up to the fact that that’s not what they want anymore.

You’ve written that you love working with children and families. Why is that a love for you?

Before I was treating a lot of people in their 50s and 60s and they didn’t benefit in the long term from the way they grew up. But look at the children who love healthy food and learn Tai Chi and yoga and meditation.

These children, even the young teenagers, especially with the right education, start feeling a connection to spirituality and staying healthy. I raised my own kids in the light of spirituality and natural health and now they see how they are thriving — but they also went to Montessori schools and private schools. We didn’t send them to the regular mass education system.

You mention that until the inner child is healed, people cannot fully realize their potential or experience happiness as adults.

For those who have not heard of the concept of the inner child, what are some clues that someone may need inner child healing?

I think they see the same pattern again and again in their lives, like a woman might choose the same kind of man over and over again. They seem good at the beginning, but then they are being controlling or abusive.

It’s an old pattern, often received from the parents in childhood, that is set in the nervous system that has to be worked on.

That inner child is your feeling. People seem to get into their intellect and their ego and escape their feelings. But, if you have anxiety or depression, which is very rampant, sometimes it’s this inner child or teen part of ourselves that is looking for a connection to the soul and to the personality.

What inspired you to write your new book, The Soul’s Journey?

My first book, Love Your Organs, Love Yourself, is about Chinese medicine and the physical body and your emotional organs.

In this one I wanted a more spiritual book, because my favorite books have always been ones like Autobiography of a Yogi and stories about the laws of the universe written in a story form.

We have evolved by sitting around the fire and telling stories, and that’s how our brains really download the information and make it real for us. So, instead of just writing a book about the laws of the universe, The Soul’s Journey is an exciting adventure of a soul in heaven preparing for the next birth. It’s about how they choose their parents and how they learn about health and preventing disease, and they go into the future and to the past and they learn the laws of the universe. They’re being told that even when they’re in the body, they have access to this memory of what they’re trying to do and what they promised to do before they took birth.

Everyone has this ability and I’m hoping when people read the book they start wondering, “What did I agree to? What were my agreements? What did I decide to do before I came into this world?”

Many ancient texts and even modern works describe our life between lives. What was your process in creating the setting for this book and the many avenues of learning that take place?

I’m sure I’ve been influenced by a lot of these books and I’ve been studying spiritual paths for over 35 years, so it was not hard to imagine what it’s like in these higher levels.

Sometimes I think in dreams we go to these places anyway, so even though it’s a fiction book, it’s based on some reality of what it’s like to be on these inner planes and in our true home. Then we come down here to forget and learn our lessons and be tested.

When we’re up there we know everything and we’re with like-minded people, but down here we’re rubbing elbows with all kinds of people, all kinds of difficulties, and this is where we are tested to prove our faith and to prove our path.

It seems like maybe some of the processes that you used to write this book may have come from your cosmic contemplation that you talk about on your website. Can you tell us about that?

This is a meditation that I definitely use, and often I do it when I’m walking the dog or mowing the lawn, not just sitting in meditation. We all know that we are sitting in a galaxy among millions of galaxies, but we don’t really experience that in our consciousness, but there are ways you can meditate that allow you to actually feel like you are floating on a planet, floating in the galaxy, and you feel all the galaxies and the stars. It puts everything in this

cosmic perspective so that you’ll have to laugh at what we’re worried about here — about politics, about money, and about little things like that.

I have better meditations when I go inside my organs or go inside my atoms and my cells. I have a lot of ideas to unfold about these visionary contemplations.

You clearly have integrated your understanding of energy and healing and spirituality in this book. What do you hope your readers take away from it?

Well, I hope people see the big picture, like this planet is on the verge of destruction and everyone who comes from a higher dimension has made some very inner promises.

Now, what am I going to do to make a difference? What am I going to do to serve life? How am I going to lessen the burden on the Earth’s body? When you get that bigger perspective of life, instead of just going to work every day and making my money and eating food, it inspires you to think about what am I doing to promote world good.

It’s interesting when I’m testing my patients about what is good for them in their lives, almost everybody is showing a need to volunteer and give selflessly to the people who are struggling financially, or people who are suffering in some way, without taking any money or anything to compensate them, just selfless serving.

I think that is the Aquarian Age dawning.

Are you saying that a lot of us aren’t doing what we intended to do when we came here?

I think we can get stuck. Some of us know we have to make big changes on the inner plane, but we just hunker down and continue to show up for work and watch TV or whatever, while the Earth is suffering so much.

It’s important for people to get the perspective that they are spiritual beings who volunteered to come to this Earth.

People who read the Edge magazine, the Aquarian Age higher souls who are more advanced, more older souls, understand these spiritual laws and that they have responsibility. It’s so easy with the internet to spread wisdom, even through Facebook — teaching and healing and becoming light workers.

What did you learn during the process of writing The Soul’s Journey?

I’ve had this practice for 25 years working with individual patients and I just had this vision that with books and with the internet we can really reach an infinite amount of people. There’s no limit to what can happen.

Through this book, I share a vision of where the Earth is going and now I want to know the role I can play. I spent over 30 years in daily prayer and meditation and mantras and affirmations and now it’s time to use all that wisdom I’ve downloaded from the universe and spread it to help other people to connect to their own inner self.

Let’s talk about the new website.

What inspired you to make this change, overall?

The people I work with, my patients, are very spiritual and kind and generous people, but often they feel alone in their lives and their family might not appreciate their strange diet or why they’re taking these supplements or changing their consciousness and becoming more aware. So I wanted to build an online community where people can share ideas and listen to weekly talks, and have online courses. With the internet, I can offer classes and

anyone around the world can just download them at any time and listen to them as many times as they want. So, I’m really excited about that.

I notice that you have an online video class based on your first book, Love Your Organs, Love Yourself.

Yes, and I have ten other ideas for classes. The one I’m thinking of next is called, “The Physical and Non-physical Cause of Disease.” I think people know a little bit about the physical cause, like toxins and mercury and diet, but then there are all these non-physical causes that I’ve worked on for so many years — emotions and other dimensional beings, whether they’re positive or negative. So, that’s going to be an exciting thing that I’m doing next.

I’ve been told that many people today are being affected by earth-bound spirits, negative entities affecting their bodies and their minds.

Yeah, when I’ve looked at people who have difficult

cases, often there are entities, demons, discarnates, black magic, witchcraft. There are just all sorts of invisible factors.

We know there’s pollution on the Earth and there’s also the infections like bacteria and viruses, but on the other dimensions there are other kinds of parasites and things that can latch onto us and mask thought forms. If you are playing violent video games, you are attracting a whole mass world energy of violence and then these thought forms can actually take over your mind and disrupt your thinking process so that they just channel through you — and you become violent.

If you have a patient who comes to you and really does not know where to start with any of this, perhaps they are just beginning the path of spirituality and healing, what do you recommend they do to start moving in that direction?

I think the beginning stage for most of us is a clean diet with organic food, a lot of vegetables and fruits, basically an antiinflammatory diet of avoiding the extremes of sugar and red meat, and for some people canola oil.

So first clean up the diet and then introduce a sense of a spiritual practice, whether it’s prayer, meditation or mindfulness, and some sort of exercise like Qigong or yoga. There’s also spiritual service — helping others and volunteering. Begin with introspection by looking at your own mind. A lot of us have lost control of our own feelings and mind, and the idea is to have mastery over your feelings and thoughts. That’s where we’re all headed. We’re all supposed to become masters of ourselves.

Thank you for talking with us today. Is there a message you would like to leave with our readers?

Yes. When I’m working with patients who have difficult cases, often I find that I have to pray and they have to pray for their God Self and their masters and angels to help them. I think we have to start asking for more guidance from above and tune

into our soul and what our soul’s agreements are, and what our soul’s path is, and our service to life, and then trust you will get the dreams or the inspiration or the coincidence that will lead you to find your own path.

Often when you find your own path, that is actually when the health issues start clearing up and when you feel more satisfied — and it helps to clear the anxiety and depression when you know you are doing your soul’s mission.

When we block our own path, through avoidance or focusing on the day-to-day stuff and not on who we are as a soul, that actually contributes to disease.

And mental disease, too. Actually in my own case, I kept having this scary repeating dream that I was in college and ready for graduation, but there was a final exam. I wasn’t ready for the final test and I didn’t have enough time to cram because the graduation was coming. I noticed that every time I gave a talk or a lecture or did some teaching, that dream would change to me being ready for the test, and I’d think, “You can handle this.”

I thought it was torture by a dream, but it was actually the fact that I was just comfortable treating one-on-one patients, not realizing that that was not my whole destiny. Dreams are one way that Spirit can talk to the soul and give it symbols.

That’s why I feel I am ready to give more teaching now, because of these dreams and visions.

We have become a nation of anxious and depressed people because we’ve been living out of balance with nature for too long. OUR PRIMAL BRAINS Did you know that your brain is hardwired from an evolutionary standpoint to experience health, creativity and productivity when it’s interacting with the natural world?

Our early ancestors instinctively knew this was true.

In today’s modern world, however, many people forget (or ignore) the value of interacting with nature to cultivate their sense of health and happiness. Our primal brains remember the healing benefits of nature, even when we ignore the calling to be in it.

MOTHER NATURE To reestablish the brain’s desire for “green time” in your life, take a walk each day in your neighborhood. Find a park, sit with your back up against a tree and simply take in the sights and sounds all around you. This activity has a calming effect on the stress center of your lower brain. It allows energy to be re-directed to our prefrontal cortex —the part of the brain that Dr. Eva Selhub says enhances immunity, creativity, intuition, memory and clear decision making.

At home, make the effort to “green” your outdoor living space with a few planters that contain flowers or herbs. Did you know the soil that provides sustenance for your plants contains a beneficial strain of bacteria that reportedly releases a chemical in your brain known as serotonin, which has the power to elevate your mood and decrease your anxiety? Maybe it’s time to sink your hands in some dirt!

EFT Tapping Uncovering & Healing the Roots of Anxiety, Depression for Anxiety, Depression

by Valerie Lis Anxiety and depression are common health concerns.

Conventional medical practices are not always effective and many people continue to suffer. Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) Tapping is evidence-based for anxiety and can also be used with depression.

The following exercises, which take only a few minutes to perform, may offer lasting relief for these conditions.

EFT is a gentle, self-help tool using the fingertips to tap on specified points of the body. In addition to its use with anxiety and depression, it also eliminates unhealthy anger and grief, reduces chronic pain, resolves addictive cravings, supports weight control, removes food and chemical sensitivities, and improves health and vitality. Based on research, EFT meets American Psychological Association criteria for evidence-based practice on PostTraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), phobias and generalized anxiety. It is accepted through the Veteran’s Administration for veterans with war trauma.

How can tapping support relief from anxiety? Anxiety has recently overtaken depression as the most common mental health diagnosis and affects approximately 18 percent of the U.S. population. Two tapping points can be done in public for social anxiety, test anxiety and fear of public speaking. They can also be used for sports performance and high-stress situations. Relaxation comes quickly, usually within 30-45 seconds. They are: • The first point is called the gamut point. It is along the indentation on the back of the hand between the baby finger/ring finger knuckles and the wrist. Tap with four fingers on this indentation.

There is no need to say words, use eye movements, recall memories, or think specific thoughts. This point is associated with the Triple Warmer, which is the primary “fight, flight or freeze” acupuncture meridian. Tapping on this location  see EFT TAPPING on p. 22

Anxiety and depression can be physiologically, spiritually and/or mental/emotionally based. But since the body, mind and soul are all interconnected, they overlap. Often anxiety or depression has to do with the past affecting you, and this can be uncovered and healed because you are far more than your past.

If we put anxiety and depression under a microscope, we see that it is typically made up of a myriad of negative thoughts, feelings and beliefs that began somewhere in the past, occasionally even in a past life. The good news is that although the past can have a strong grip on you, it no longer exists except as a memory, which is a combination of thoughts, feelings and corresponding beliefs that get formed, otherwise known as “thought-form energy.”

Yet, there is a larger, higher, “more real” part of you that transcends the thought-form energy from the past. When you connect to that part, you can uncover and release the roots of the past that limit you.

Einstein said that you can’t solve a problem at the same level of consciousness that created the problem — but you can at a higher level.

Your soul isn’t anxious or depressed, and you are that soul more than you are the ego personality that is anxious and depressed, because one part of you lives on, the other doesn’t. In fact, you couldn’t escape that whole, complete part of you if you tried; it just gets covered up with false beliefs from the human experience.

Using hypnotherapy, you can connect to and identify with your wiser soul self that is forever anchored in the here and now, and that part of you can help heal your ego-based body/mind self. You then experience what the Buddha meant when he said the thinking mind is the source of all suffering.

Here are some examples: A woman (I’ll call her Linda) came to me recently feeling very depressed. Underneath her depression were feelings and beliefs of shame, unworthiness and “not good enough” due to growing up with abuse and neglect. These heavy feelings made life feel as if she was trying to run a marathon with armor on.

Using hypnotherapy, Linda envisioned her consciousness moving up above her body, above and beyond the earth, and into Source energy where she melted into it and felt and compared various qualities of Source, such as peace, joy, love and security. This can only be done if you’re not in your thinking mind. From this highest dimension of your being, there is a knowing that nothing in the Universe can harm you, and it is a perfect place to heal the

ego part of you that feels stuck.

From this high vantage point, feeling connected to Source, Linda looked down at a timeline of her life — specifically above the 2-month old version of herself.

I asked, “Should your infant self, like all infants, ideally be made to feel loved, wanted, valued, safe and secure? Is your infant self worthy of love?”

The truth is yes, all infants are worthy of love, so it became evident to Linda that unworthiness is not inherent to her being.

Shame and unworthiness are messages that feel true, but are not, and Linda could see that she picked up these perspectives early on from her parents. Since it didn’t belong to her, she envisioned and actually felt that heavy thought form energy going back to her parents, who in turn passed it down to where they got it from, their parents, and then down through the generations and into a fire pit to be incinerated into Source energy. She then retrieved the part of her that was lost when she took on the feelings of “not good enough,” feeling the sensations of love, empowerment and joy come back to her. She then sent this energy down to her 5-year old self, Junior High self, and all the other times when she needed it in her life.

Four weeks later, Linda emailed me to say that she felt as if a huge weight had been lifted since the session, and that she had propelled far onto her path of growth and healing.

In another example, a man with high anxiety did a past-life regression and saw himself as a young Viking whose beloved grandfather was murdered by a group of three men. He was consumed with anger, hatred and revenge, and he died with this rage. These heavy feelings kept a sliver of his soul consciousness stuck around the Earth plane, unable to move up into the higher realms after death.

We did a soul retrieval and thus healed and re-integrated this lost soul aspect of himself.

Six weeks later he reported that since the session he felt much less anxious, and things that would previously cause him much stress and worry no longer affected him.

Healing Sounds of Nature provide vital Relaxation

by Dr. Carl Greer A friend of mine says this time of year is when her ears are happiest because she wakes to the sound of birds singing.

She also enjoys the soft patter of rain hitting her roof as she lies in her bed. Did you know that natural sounds such as the calls of birds, wind swooshing through trees, and water softly sloshing against the shore of a lake can actually cause your nervous system to switch into a repair mode, relaxing you?

Now scientific research shows this can happen even if you are simply listening to recordings of natural sounds.

Could it be that our ears crave the sounds that make us feel at home on the Earth and remind us of our connection to the natural world?

Even as the healing qualities of natural sounds can cue your nervous system to enter a relaxand-repair mode, these sounds can also help you to shift your emotions and mood. In nature, your brain goes into a state in which your emotional center may still be active but you are better able to integrate its experiences. This happens because the logical, thinking part of your brain (the frontal cortex) is communicating with the emotional center in the limbic brain in a less-charged way. It may explain why nature sounds are so effective for bringing about relaxation and a state of calmness and well-being.

Try spending some time in nature listening with your eyes closed as you stand or sit still.

Can you identify where each sound originates and where it travels as it moves through the air around you? Does one sound overlap another? How long does it take for the sound to dissipate to the point where you no longer consciously hear it? Mindful listening combined with observing the sounds in nature can help you relax and feel connected to your body and to nature. This experience seems to relativize problems, that is, help you put them in

perspective as you become aware that you are part of something larger than yourself and interconnected to a web of life.

As you listen to the rustling of leaves, the buzzing of insects, and the sound of moving water, whether it is waves ebbing and flowing or a river as it tumbles over rocks, notice whether the sounds you hear harmonize with each other. Does one sound catch your ear more than another? Do you notice quieter sounds because of their quality?

The next time you are indoors listening to recordings of natural sounds, let your unconscious mind activate as your conscious mind relaxes.

You might silently pose a question such as, “What do I need to know about my anxiety?” or “What am I not seeing and understanding when it comes to my feelings?” Wait to see if any wisdom arises within you as you sit quietly, listening to the sounds of nature. If tears flow, or you begin to laugh, that might be an answer you will better understand later when you think about it or do some journaling. If with your eyes closed, you suddenly imagine yourself dancing or intuit that your worry is connected to a recent loss, pay attention.

The message about your feelings may not come to you in words but as an inner knowing, an image, or even a snippet of music and lyrics. And the message may be simply that you need to listen more often to the calming sounds of nature and spend more time in natural settings.

Try listening to nature sounds and see if your emotions and mood shift. • The under eye point has been called the “fear point” in acupuncture. It is located on the eye socket directly beneath the pupil of either eye. Tapping with three or four fingers on this point quickly resolves phobias, fear and anxiety.

Triggers to spiders, snakes, heights, enclosed spaces and other “threats” are often permanently gone. In many cases, this exercise needs to be done only one time. To do this in public, just turn your head and apply a few quick taps.

Tapping directly on one of these points, or alternating the two points, will usually provide relief for anxiety and fears.

Although EFT is primarily a self-tool, we can also tap directly on another person. Holding one’s hand while tapping on the gamut point can be done on children, family members, and friends. The process can also be done on pets with paws.

Anxiety may be associated with perfectionism, fear of the future and concerns with judgment, criticism and making mistakes. These issues can also be cleared through the use of EFT Tapping.

Unfortunately, our mainstream culture’s relationship with food is broken. What is needed is a profound shift in how we view food. Food is a brilliant teacher that offers to teach us about the connection between our personal health and our planetary health. How we treat the Earth in the process of producing food is an indication of how it will treat us in return! That’s why it’s so important for us to “farm green!”

FOODS RAISE OUR FREQUENCY We all require balanced nutrition to support our physical health. But we also require nutrition that has the power to awaken our spiritual life force.

Eating to feed our spirits (and spark our evolution) is about eating foods that are sustainably grown (raised in harmony with nature) and serve as containers for “light-energy.” Light-

sion? Depression can be described as an allergic-type response to happiness. Based on that idea, I have had hundreds of clients break through depression by tapping with a simple four-word phrase.

Here is the process, done in front of a mirror: Gently tap with your fingertips 4-7 times on each of the following locations: top of the head, inside of the eyebrow, side of the eye, under the eye, under the nose, on the chin, on the collarbone, 4-5 inches below the armpit. Say, “I am soooo happy!” with enthusiasm, out loud, while going through each of the eight tapping points.

Continue to tap until the words feel true.

With this exercise, I have found that most people gain a sense of hopefulness. Beliefs shift and happiness becomes a real possibility. Of course, this is just the beginning. Depression often requires deeper, more intensive work.
