P4 Club 2 - Handmade and home art

Our students participated in many interesting and diverse activities: They learned a new and original painting technique called "Marble Effect" and got acquaintedwiththeCollagetechnique.Howisthe"MarbleEffect"made?First,pastelpaints are applied very well on the whole sheet. The sheet is then crushed by hand and moistened with water. Carefully stretch the sheet and allow to dry. Finally you can paint with watercolors on it. A very original marble effect is obtained. This technique is very interesting!

kneading and ornamentation of ritual bread.

The students got acquainted with a traditional craft - kneading ritual bread. They learned how to knead the traditional Bulgarian bread and got acquainted with the symbolism and ornaments on the bread and made a special ritual decoration for the traditional Easter bread.

The students had interesting activities related to the decoration. They made spring decorations and decorative panels with natural and recycled materials - paper, sticks, cones, twigs, spices, wool, yarn, buttons and more.

P5 Club 2 - Etiquette and good manners

In connection with good manners, good manners and cultural and social behavior, our students attended a cultural event and attended the musical "Alice in Wonderland" - a performance in which children sing, dance and participate, and demonstrated skills in concert behavior.

Party Table

Our students made a party table and learned to arrange and decorate an official table for special celebrations. They demonstrated good manners and eating culture.

Cooking

The students from our school showed their cooking skills, learned to prepare a variety of dishes and took pictures, sent many recipes, videos and photos with dishes, desserts, drinks,etc. andthishelpedthemlearnto cook anddeveloptheircooking skills.They learned and showed how toprepareBulgarian dishes accordingtoa traditional recipe,thus revealing their culinary potential and last but not least managed to develop healthy eating habits.

These activities combined many competencies and our students learned many new things. They made a menu consisting of traditional Bulgarian dishes. Then they prepared all the dishes according to recipes they found themselves and learned the rules for proper table arrangement. They also learned the rules of cultural nutrition when attending an official event. Last but not least, they learned some basic serving rules.

The menu included Tarator, Shopska salad, Roasted fish on a platter with vegetables, Dessert - fruit salad with seasonal fruits and Homemade lemonade, which the children prepared themselves.

P6 Club 2 - Handmade and home art

The event we did at our school, related to "Cooking" and "Good Manners" was the preparation of a party table and the demonstration of skills for arranging, decorating, serving and consuming home-cooked meals by the students!

The students searched for and showed traditional Easter recipes - how to prepare the dishes for the Bulgarian Easter traditional table - coloring eggs with natural products, spring salad, roast lamb, Easter bread - Easter cake. All recipes were translated and sent to our project partners by regular mail.

These activities combined many competencies and our students learned many new things. They made a menu consisting of traditional Bulgarian dishes. Then they prepared all the dishes according to recipes that they found themselves and learned the rules for proper table arrangement. In conclusion, we can summarize that the students demonstrated good manners and eating culture. They tried the culinary masterpieces of their classmates. This activity was extremely interesting and useful for all participants, very fun and of course very tasty.

Exchange.

Second exchange of materials by regular mail - Easter cooking traditions in each partner country.

After the students searched for and prepared original Bulgarian recipes and ways to dye eggs with natural products, everything was translated and sent by regular mail to the schools partner in the project. The students also drew Easter drawings and made a spring decoration with greetings for all students, their families and teachers in the partner schools from other countries participating in the project.

Competition for the "Best Easter Table"

In ourschool weorganized a competition for thebest traditionalEastermeal with thetypical Easter dishes among the students and their families during the Easter holidays in Bulgaria. The students sent their photos, which we published and made available to the whole school community and organized online voting. The winner of the competition "Best Easter table" under our project among 15 proposals, became table №2 of Valentin Petrov from 3rd grade and his family. We sent our winner of the competition to the other project partner countries.
