P10 Club 4 - Collecting

Man is a hoarder by nature. The art of collecting has been with us since prehistoric times. Through the act of gathering, children develop many important qualities that can help them in the future, such as organization, research skills, socialization, ease in dealing with new situations, the ability to maintain a conversation and raise problems, cope better with criticism, knowing how to praise others, improving negotiation techniques and a whole range of knowledge and general culture that the child acquires during the act of gathering. Therefore, these activities should be encouraged and thus improve their social, intellectual and psychological development.

Students were encouraged by their teachers to start collecting, or if they had already started, to continue to find and collect whatever interests they had. We had a discussion about what things they can collect and what is the benefit of collecting.

Some of the students already had collections started and showed us what they had collected so far.

Gathering interesting collections during the holidays.

During the vacation, the students collected various objects and things that are interesting and already at the beginning of the school year they had very interesting and valuable collections. With the help of their friends and their families during the summer vacation, the students used their time for useful and interesting activities.

P12 Club 4 - Collecting and Demonstration

The students showed their collections at school to the other students, and in this way they were able to spark their interest in the collecting activity, and they could also make an exchange.
