fter attending my 30th PGA Merchandise Show last month in Orlando and zig-zagging my way through the countless aisles of exhibitor booths, the golf industry continues to spark a wide range of entrepreneurial spirit inside the minds of inventor types, risk-takers, and regular joes whose passion for the game drives them to seek solutions and create new products to make the game better. Briston Peterson, a successful luxury home builder from Aspen, CO is an avid, single-digit golfer who by nature of his day job as a contractor visualized and invented a product that he believes is a game changer in how we approach a critical aspect of the game – marking the golf ball on the green. Peterson invented and designed On Point 3-D golf ball markers. The patented three dimensional dome shaped design sits slightly elevated behind the ball when placed on the green. Several different alignment guides are available on the top of the dome to help players continuously engage with their putting line, helping them read greens with more confidence and accuracy. Alignment technology has been implemented by several major manufacturers in recent years including Callaway and Taylor Made Golf. Callaway introduced its “Triple Track” patented line technology on the ERC Soft and Chrome Soft golf ball at last year’s PGA Show. Triple Track
