Join an unusual outdoor experience in the magnificent territory between Tuscany and Umbria once called Etruria from the ancient civilization of the Etruscans and later the landscape of the medieval flowering of walled cities and castles.

We will bring you to discover natural beauties and historical gems using different means in order to have an uncommon approach and different points of view. You would paddle along the shore of the ancient Etruscan city of Populonia, bike around the walls of the turreted town of San Gimignano, land in the hidden islands of the Trasimeno lake, and walk in the natural reserve of Castelvecchio discovering ancient reminds.

All places we will visit belong to the long historical strand starting from the mysterious Etruscans with their city-states to the medieval municipalities. All places are lying in the gorgeous countryside around the San Donato village where we will have our starting base.

We will provide you all support and gears for the tours plus qualified guides as you could fully enjoy this experience with your friends or together with your family.

Daily program 3

Starting from the San Donato Farm in San Gimignano countryside we will experience five days of involving and emotional activities.

The present agenda is suitable to change in case of not appropriate weather conditions for the specific activities planned.

Day 1 Evening - briefing regarding the planning, introduction to the history and the specific characteristics of the places we are going to visit following the timeline from our Etruscan ancestors to nowadays.

Day 2

Morning - moving to Baratti Gulf and set up of the kayak activity Planned 4 hours of relaxed kayak guided tour in the gulf and around the promontuary shores. Landing in Saint Quirico bay and on the Baratti plage. Pic nic lunch during the journey.

Afternoon - visit to the Etruscan necropolis and medieval walled village of Populonia.

Late afternoon - transfer to San Donato and end of the activities.

Day 3

Morning - setting up the biking activities.

About 3 hours biking guided tour on the hills around the medieval city of San Gimignano.

Late morning - coming back to the farm and local specialities testing After the end of the activities, possible walk in the vineyards and usage of the pool.

Day 4 Morning - moving to Trasimeno lake and set up of the kayak activity Planned 4 hours of relaxed kayak guided tour on the lake starting from Monte del lago. Landing in the Polvese island.

Afternoon - visit to medieval villege of Passignano on the lake shore Late afternoon - transfer to San Donato and end of the activities.

Day 5 Morning - setting up the walking activities. About four hours walking guided tour in the natural reserve of Castelvecchio (100 m height difference) and visit to the medieval ruins of the hidden village.

Late morning - end of the activities and light lunch at the San Donato farm.
