ACTION OF FORMING AND DEFORMING Configurational study through sketches and analyzation. Hybrid products Technical diagram Compositions Nine cards
CONFIGURATION
INTERIGATION / DISINTEGRATION A stuy on the polyphonic aspect of the multi-functional design HYBRID INTERIGATED: Components from each of the three objects already exists in our life to provide convenient funtions for everyday life However, the original objects contains only the simplest function.
Duchy handler
Clip Lamp (includes bulb)
Thermos bottle
We analyze these products to use them for further examination. Deconstruct them into their most basic forms and from three dimension to two dimension.
The process of transforming a standard product into different 2D shapes and simplify its specific components.
Explore its symmetrical characteristic and find different point of views
Multiple ways of representing the lamp, the bulb and the light
Create your own products by arranging the objects in uncanny orders
A techinical analysis diagram of one of the hybrid products
COMPOSITIONAL STUDY Create the 2D hybrids and simple composition study. From raw sketches to monotone study.
An experiment using collages based on one of the compositions
NINE CARDS The composition will be picked to use for the final cards. There will be three main composion in my cards.
The first pick for the card and its development through previous sketches (from the items to the 2D composion)
The second composition
The third compostion

DESIGNING A LANDSCAPE Focal lines Landscape development Model 1 Model 2 Model 3 Model 4
MODELS AND FOCAL LINES Pick one card to remake a technical blueprint for the landscape models. The lines will be dragged vertically and horizontally to create depth and height for the landscape models
MODEL 1: LEVELING From lines from the blueprint, create different level of heights .
MODEL 2: VERTICAL ELEMENTS The lines will be raised up vertically
MODEL 3: VOLUME Depth and height will be added to the model create volume
MODEL 4: INVERSE VOLUME A reverse height version of the third volume model
MODEL 1 Leveling
MODEL 3 Volume
MODEL 2 Vertical lines
MODEL 4 Inverse volume
AXONOMETRIC ISOMETRIC STUDY Different view point and concept from: Model 1 Model 2 Model 3 Model 4
Imagine different point of views from the previously made models

INHABITABLE SPACE SMALL SCALE ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN Site development Structure development Perspective drawings Floor plans Sections Elevation Roof Circulation Massing Lighting Human-eye view Physical model Diagram model Light model
The project is to create inhabitable spaces that are well made, useful, sustainable and delightful. This is a structure in a landscape with no bedroom, bathroom or kitchen. It provides space, light and landscape for these 5 functions: - Site approach - Threshold spaces - Serving tea - Reading - Repose space The site is 24x24 meter
SITE
The official site that has been developed from the four landscape models
Early sketches and concepts for the site, developed through the previous models and cards
STRUCTURE ON THE SITE
The official design for the landscape, based mostly on the models and adjusted to be inhabitable
THE DIGITAL MODEL
COLUMN SYSTEM There are 10 columns in total, 8 on the ground floor and 2 on the second floor. The radius of each column is 100mm.
SCREENING Each of this column is 280mm in width and stands 280mm away from each other.
PERSPECTIVE DRAWING

GROUND FLOOR PLAN
SECOND FLOOR PLAN
TEA ROOM SECTION
The ground floor is 3,8 m The second floor is 3,4m
REPOSE AND READING ROOM SECTION
The repose on the ground floor is 3,8 m in height The reading room on the second floor is 3,2 m in height
ELEVATION The view of the tea room and from the front entrance
RAIN HARVESTING SYSTEM
The roof is tilted so that it will create a slope surface to direct the rain water into the gutter, which will eventually be filtered and stored in a below ground water tank. The water then will be pumped up for other uses.
CIRCULATION DIAGRAM
MAIN SITE APPROACH The entrance for guests and multiple people, leading straight to the tea room and the garden
PRIVATE SITE APPROACH The more narrow way in, leading a more convenient way into the repose without having to go through unnecessarry access.
3D MASSING AND FUNCTION DIAGRAM The tea room is also the social place, connecting directly to the garden and the reading room on the second floor. Tea room and reading room are for more than one person and more public The repose on the ground floor is more private and only connect directly to the reading room upstair.
THE TEA ROOM/SOCIAL PLACE
The tea room has an indoor and outdoor area and very open to other spaces. Most of the enclosurement is also glass panels instead of walls.
THE REPOSE AND THE READING ROOM Repose on the ground floor and reading room on the second floor. Connecting to each other since one is a private space, and the other is a semi-private space.
LIGHTING STUDY
The repose and the reading room requires semi-dark spaces.

HUMAN SCALE View from the threshold into the tea room on the ground floor and the second floor
HUMAN SCALE View from the garden and view from the repose
PHYSICAL MODEL
The physical model of the structure with the scale of 1 : 100
DIAGRAM MODEL
The model which illustrate the structure, enclosure system and the circulation around the spaces. The main structure will be the reinforce walls, columns and the beam system.
REPOSE LIGHT MODEL
LIGHT MODEL
A simple model to study the lighting inside the repose and the reading room
