International Retail Banking Summit in Egypt
www.efma.com/egypt
Being one of the biggest economies in the North Africa and Middle East region, Egypt’s retail banking industry has achieved significant growth over the last decade. The competition is getting higher, owing to the entry of several global and regional multinational banks in the industry. Yet a considerably large segment of the population does not have access to financial services; one of the reasons behind that is because, a large part of the economy still remains undocumented, restricting the banks’ ability to provide credit to a significant number of retail and small business customers.
