“Energy Tower in the Park: A Story of Inequality & A Tale of Two Grids”

Mitigate the effects of climate change while mobilizing an unemployed workforce to participate in the emerging economy of renewable resources while promoting the most vulnerable populations first. Received the 2020 Buell Center Paris Prize Award for addressing the terms and spirit of the 2015 Paris Climate Agreement.

Create a new path through Morningside Park that exposes the contested history of Columbia University’s Gym Crow while simultaneously creating park amenities as an offering to larger Central Harlem.

“Fortresses of Culture: Peeling back the Marble Curtain”

An occupational protest of Lincoln Center to expose the history of “slum clearance,” displacement, gentrification, and erasure through an archival gallery that restores public welfare through mutual aid groups and awareness of the violence committed to residents of San Juan Hill.

Sustainable Practice Group - Indoor Environment Committee at Dattner

SPG facilitates sustainability and improves occupant health, equity, and the resilience of projects. Members share research through intranet posts, design tools, resources, and publications for project teams to employ in design work, energy modeling, material selection, and recommended details.

Marching Further - Women in Design Committee

An interoffice and interdisciplinary committee that identifies, strategizes, and amplifies policy and design issues regarding minorities in the workplace, such as pay equity.

EXHIBITIONS

Women in Architecture, Art, and Design - Exhibition at NJIT HCAD

Public exhibition of work to celebrate women in architecture including books, publications, prints, drawings, models, paintings, and other media.

Parti Wall Workshop + Installation - In Collaboration with Professor Anda French

Set in a 9 square grid of 5’ x 5’ x 5’ cells, teams of faculty-led students create an installation that negotiate with their neighboring cells.

Attended woodshop classes where members use the lathe, jointer, planer, table saw, bandsaw, miter saw, router table, sanders, and a variety of other shop tools.

CANstruction - New York, NY

Fundraised for cost of cans, created design of structure, and assembled structure during build night. After the exhibit, the all cans were donated to City Harvest.

Habitat for Humanity - New York, NY

Demolished and renovated homes across Queens, NY that were destroyed during Hurricane Sandy in 2012.
