My commitment is to develop critical thinking, excellent skills and craftsmanship, to support research that enhances creative activities, to intellectual diversity, to community service, and to improving higher education for all, particularly under-represented groups. My aim is to enable students to evolve their unique visual voices through the realization of professional interests through exposure to and practice with creative multimedia with the goal of developing creative thinkers, artist professionals, and cultural leaders. Teaching informs my research and writings on the ethics and the language of visual culture and it continues to cultivate my design capabilities, which allows me to share knowledge, experience, confidence, skill, and insight with my students.
