Jake Fields Another treat EILE has for you this edition is singer-songwriter, Jake Fields, who has recently released a great single, The Other Side Of Waiting. For Jake, his music is a labour of love, so he decided to focus his ambition on becoming a full-time musician, and divides his time between Nashville and Los Angeles. His influences range from Paul Simon to Freddie King, and he has recently teamed up with producer, Jim McGorman (Avril Lavigne/Marc Broussard) to record his first EP, Someday You’ll Be Mine, which is expected to drop in early 2019. For Jake, all it took was $70, and a thrift store visit, to drop professional baseball aspirations and dedicate his life to music. What Fields got in return was a guitar, amplifier, and an unrelenting dream to become a professional musician. After falling deeply in love with songwriting and performing, Jake realised his dream, became a full-time musician, and released an EP of original tracks. Now those ambitious goals have become his reality. Showcasing his eclectic tastes of pop rock, blues, and folk sensibilities, Fields has already released two debut singles titled Snake Eyes, and Memories of 45s, the latter of which has garnered over 100,000 streams on Spotify.
