eorgia Governor Brian Kemp and First Lady Marty Kemp recently visited the Humane Society of South Coastal Georgia. The Kemps are very active in promoting pet
adoption throughout Georgia and the HSSCG staff enjoyed meeting them and introducing them to volunteers and the animals at the shelter. Twice since becoming First Lady of Georgia, Mrs. Kemp has hosted a “Pet Adoption Day” at the Governor’s Mansion
in Atlanta and plans to host more. The last event in June resulted in 22 adoptions. That’s making a difference! She and the Governor also graciously posed with the animals at HSSCG in efforts to promote their adoptions and placement into forever homes.
