"The Anarchitecture of Gordon Matta-Clark" . A study on the work of the pioneer artist Gordon Matta- Clark, who experimented with the space and form, intending a revival and redefinition of the space and the society by extension. In the early 1970s and in the context of his artistic community surrounding FOOD, Matta-Clark developed the idea of "anarchitecture" - a conflation of the words anarchy and architecture - to suggest an interest in voids, gaps, and left-over spaces. His work always had a social and political comment and he was trying to examine and give answers to social phenomena. That is why it is interesting to study his approach as it is still up-to-date and it offers a different way of analysis of the social structure through deconstruction. // History of Modern Art, 3rd Year, University of Thessaly, Department of Architecture, 2014
