In addition to the birdie Hanzel had on the par 5, 14th, he also eagled the par 5, 6th. Brian Isztwan (Huntingdon Valley, PA) posted a 78 (+6) to finish one shot off the lead alone in 2nd place. Jonathan Prussel (Egg Harbor Township, NJ) rounded out the division in 3rd with an 81 (+9).
Kaitlyn Lees (Bryn Mawr, PA) fired a round of 83 (+11) to place 1st in the Girls 16-18 Division. One highlight to make note of on Lees’ round was her birdie at the par 4, 11th. Esther Park (Wilmington, DE) placed 2nd with an 18-hole score of 88 (+16). Emily Gilbert (Gilbertsville, PA) took home 3rd place honors with a 92 (+20).
Camille O’Halloran (Northfield, NJ) posted a 92 (+20) for a 1-shot victory in the Girls 13-15 Division. With the win at Vineyard Golf at Renault, O’Halloran now has back-to-back In the Boys 16-18 Division, Forrest Swisher victories dating back to last season. Ryan D’Ariano (West Chester, PA) carded 7 pars on his front nine to post a round of 39 (+3) and take 1st place in the 12 & Under Division (Boys & Girls). D’Ariano has grown to like the Vineyard Golf at Renault as he won the same event last season. In 2nd place with a 42 (+6) was Patrick Isztwan (Huntingdon Valley, PA). Hunter Po (Bridgewater, NJ) wrapped up the division in 3rd place with a 46 (+10).

The night began with Mr. Dunigan speaking on his research on the ball flight laws and essential skills of golf. Mr. Dunigan focused on the relationship between the club face and club path, and a discussion on gear effect.
Next, Mr. Dunigan explored strategies for more effective practice. Using inexpensive tools he demonstrated how to get more out of each practice session. Finally, the evening concluded with a discussion on college golf. Mr. Dunigan was able to relay best practices for reaching college golf based on his experience helping his current students achieve their goals of playing college golf.

Sprinkled throughout the presentation were John’s stories from coaching PGA Tour star Sean O’Hair. John recalled recent visits with O’Hair at the Valspar Championship at Innisbrook Resort in Palm Harbor, Florida and the Valero Texas Open at the JW Marriott TPC San Antonio in San Antonio, Texas.
