The most important info that I conveyed was the process of coffee and how it’s journey from being a seed in the ground, to a drink that millions of people drink every day. I created visual hierarchy by using hand drawn icons and placing them in a pattern that would flow for the viewer’s eye. I arranged the information in a step-by-step process. Through this project, I learned even more about Photoshop and InDesign that I will definitely be using more of in the future. I also learned about the importance of visual representation of data and how, when used effectively, can have a much larger impact on an audience. Working with color was a little challenging for me because I had gotten so used to working in black and white in previous projects in this class. However, I do not think my piece could have been nearly as effective without it.
