ABOUT ME I’m Kate Spiers, 30, TV presenter and blogger (@katespiers; katelavie.com) and I live here with my husband Jordan and our two cats, Mouse and Babyman. WHEN WE MOVED IN The flat had been rented out and was a shell, but it had some gorgeous original features as well as central heating and double-glazed windows, so I knew that it had potential. AND NOW We’ve pulled up carpets and installed a new kitchen and bathroom – all during a pandemic! STYLE TIP I freshen up the decor by moving furniture between rooms, updating shelf displays and soft furnishings. It feels like you’ve got a whole new room as a result.
