Protect your working surface with newspaper, then lay a plain fabric table runner flat on top. Use a paintbrush to apply green paint to a large leaf stamp, then press it down firmly onto the fabric. Continue stamping along the length of the runner, spacing the prints out evenly. Repeat the process, making use of a second leaf stamp and different shades of green paint. Try mixing the paints to create more shades of green and continue to stamp, allowing the designs to overlap in places. Step back to look at your work then fill in gaps between the leaves with stamps until the surface of the runner is covered. Once the fabric paint is dry, cut pom-pom trim to the same length as the short ends of the table runner. Using co-ordinating thread, hand or machine sew the trim on the right side (top) of the runner so the tape creates a pink stripe at each end. Alternatively, if you prefer, sew the tape on the underside so only the pom-poms are visible.
