Current STEM student Sean M. will facilitate this peer-led gardening group and be co-facilitate by Tammy Horlacher, our Activities Coordinator.
You will learn how to grow spider plants and explore the parallels in caring for plants and yourself through science and art.

As students prepare to navigate the complexities of higher education, prioritizing mental well-being becomes essential. Our mini-series, "Transitioning to College: A Four-Week Mental Health Preparation Series," offers incoming college students invaluable tools and insights to foster resilience, manage stress, and thrive in their academic pursuits.

This is a gentle and therapeutic practice that focuses on deep relaxation and rejuvenation. Participants engage in a series of supported poses, using various props like blankets, blocks, & bolsters to promote rest and release of tension, while

S.O.L.A.C.E.: Spaces Of Love & Connection with Equity, a safe and inclusive youth support group. The group will provide a safe, brave space to dive into/discuss the multi-layered aspects of intersecting identities and how they interact with being a gun violence survivor.
Facilitated by: James Nee LCSW (he/they). Drop-ins welcome.
You do not need to sign up if you don’t feel comfortable, but please register for this group when you sign in at the Center.

PROPPED UP –CHAIR YOGA & BREATHWORK
Join us for this new class incorporating chair yoga and breathwork with Alaina Patton for ages 16 and up. This can be a great option for everyday life scenarios - yoga at the airport, yoga at work, yoga in the classroom - people with limitations, such as an injury or illness.

You do not have to have a child signed up in the youth skills group. If you do, your child will be ready to leave at 4:00p.

Our activities coordinator Tammy has added an afternoon Open Art Studio series to our Spring schedule. Join her as she guides you through a different art activity every other week to benefit overall wellness and community!
This program is open to all age groups and we encourage families to join together. *Children 11yrs and younger must be accompanied by an adult or older responsible sibling. This is not a drop-off event.
