PARTNERSHIPS

We embarked on a number of partnerships that build the collective strength of our inputs into society. You can read about our partnership with the Western Cape Government to build successful outcomes in low fee/ no fee schools on pages 16-18.

We have a long-standing partnership with Rutgers University which allows for knowledge exchange, training and innovation opportunities to shape our programmatic interventions.

In 2018 we signed a partnership with Learning in Reach to accelerate and consolidate the provision of Early Childhood Development (ECD) services in the Lavender Hill Community. Learning in Reach, led by Leanne Reid and her team from Lavender Hill, have done some amazing work to build a strong ECD culture of excellence among the ECD service providers as well as extend the reach of the ECD network to ensure that no child is left behind.

PARTNERSHIPS

We have an ongoing partnership with the South African National

Tuberculosis Association (SANTA)

and support the work done by SANTA to prevent the spread of TB among all people. Our annual grant to SANTA is to ensure that all DOT-workers have the support they need to do the very important work of monitoring patient medication intakes.

We have a signed partnership with the Association for Research on

Nonprofit Organizations and Voluntary

Action (ARNOVA) in the USA and the

Association for Research on Civil

Society in Africa (AROCSA) in Africa. The purpose of the partnership is to grow the research capacity of civil society organisations working within the African Development space. It further focuses on the facilitation of specialist dialogues for the sake of improving standards of important research in Africa and the publication of occasional research papers on development trends in Africa.
