Springtime for Sävenäs In the middle of downtown Gothenburg, between the highway and the train tracks lies the Sävenäs allotment area with its small and beautiful garden cottages. As a child Daniel Mänd (founder of Elvine) spent most of his summers here together with his grandmother Elvine Mänd. Elvine treated her allotment with great care and cultivated everything from potatoes to sunflowers. Our spring & summer 2013 collection is inspired by the Sävenäs allotment area and its people.

Swedish snuff Swedish snuff, or “snus� is a moist powder tobacco product originated from a variant of dry snuff in the early 19th century in Sweden, consumed by placing it under the lip for extended periods of time. Not to be confused with the dry form of tobacco, snuff, that is inhaled through the nose.
