Hey I’m Emma...
I’m a highly creative designer and illustrator, powered by sweet treats and inspired by travel, typography and quirky creatures.
Having primarily worked on licenced greetings products for major retailers, I’m experienced in working on trend led designs and taking them on the journey from inital concept through to final production. I have a strong commercial awareness, a versatile style and am always eager to broaden my creative abilites.
The thing that makes me most happy (besides sunshine and chocolate :)) is creating compelling designs that simply bring smiles and joy!

Licensed greetings
Whist working for Gemma International, I was fortunate to have worked in a busy design studio team creating a large variety of designs, prints and packaging for some much loved childrens brands and licenced products. This has given me a strong knowledge of designing innovative greetings products while adhering to brand guidelines and styleguides. Excellent communication with licensors and my team was key to ensure that projects progressed smoothly through approval stages to production.
Cards and party products
A very exciting range to work on for the Natural History Museum. The designs were produced with a cold foil finish.
Self initiated & innovation projects
In addition to licensed ranges, I also created generic designs and own brand ranges. I was proud to be lead designer for ‘Little Thoughts’ and ‘Thumblebee which were created to fill gaps in the market and proved popular with retailers.
My role as designer for job board CV-Library has broadened my experience on working within a corporate environment. I collaborated with the marketing department to create a wide range of artwork which ranged from developing new brand identity to social media posts, event collateral and the company christmas card.
I love to illustrate quirky creatures and have a particular partiality for a marsuipal or two!

Designs for Scribbler, Wuzci, Thortful & Ohh deer
Whilst on maternity leave, I was inspired to create a series of illustrations for nursery prints posters and milestone cards. I love to do as much development on this in my spare time as I can.
