Imagine: ME Aware of My Authenticity

For Day 2 of Authenticity, let’s use expressive arts to train the unconscious mind to experience Authenticity. First, relax, then follow the image instructions, then express what you experienced.

Relax: Begin by finding a place where you will not be interrupted and can relax. Breathe in through your nose, out through your mouth, or in any way that feels comforting and comfortable to you. When you are ready, begin to imagine.

Imagine: Bring to mind an image of yourself awakening and noticing that you are at Brain State 1. You are aware of your Authenticity, and even more, you see yourself, light side, dark side, and all, and feel whole and genuine.

Hear yourself saying, “I am creating joy in my life, and for today, my reward is Authenticity. My job is to see myself without judgment. It is to know that my relationship with myself is the most important relationship of all, and I do not have to be perfect to be wonderful. My job is to stay connected to the deepest part of myself and savor the meaning of being alive as this one person: ME, with all my talents, charming ways, good looks, and integrity, and those small clusters of circuits here and there that

make life a little more challenging for me. I am the genuine article, the whole package: ME.”

As you move through your day, notice that you encounter stressors, and your brain begins to split. You cannot see yourself, light side, dark side, and all, and you say to yourself, “I do not feel authentic.”

See yourself reaching for the tools and transforming those stuck emotions into flowing feelings. See yourself spiraling up to Brain State 1 and feeling the glow.

Next, see yourself stating your Authenticity expectation…as a way of pinpointing exactly what you expect of yourself in order to experience an abundance of Authenticity. Say your Authenticity expectation again…and again…and again, until you feel whole and experience being true to yourself, genuine.

Continue observing yourself with pride and joy, being aware when you are not at One, and using that stress as a moment of opportunity to strengthen your Authenticity wires until you notice that it is completely effortless. You are automatically a different person. You are a person who experiences an abundance of Authenticity.

Take all the time you need to focus on that image of yourself, aware of your Authenticity, and when you are ready, express what you experienced.
