Where is the Church? Genesis 1:28 – 2:18, -21-23 We will always find people who make up their own minds to do something contrary to God’s will, and homosexuality is one of them, which is the worst kind. Most homosexuals think they are born with homosexual tendencies, but that is not the case, they do not want to take the responsibility of being a homo, so the try to shift that to God. What homosexuals do not understand is that Gene Turner God has divine order of Out of the Eyes all things. You have of a Layman never seen a clock or a watch run in reverse order of clockwise, if the hands on a watch or clock moves counter clockwise on any watch or clock a person whether it’s a man or woman will have to pull the stem out and twist the stem backwards themselves. The order of the clock is to run clockwise (Left to right) not (right to left). So, if you want the hands to go right to left the individual must do the turning himself or herself. That’s the way it is with homosexuals, they decide which way they travel, clockwise, or counter clockwise. Clockwise here is creative order, counter clockwise is out of creative order (Satan’s way) You see, God cannot make a mistake, He is God, how can He make a mistake like this, making a woman a man and making a man a woman. God cannot make a mistake as this. Whenever a man or woman desires to become the opposite sex he or she is saying to God and the world that God made a mistake with me, so, now I am going to do what God did not do, He made a mistake with me, and now I am going to fix things the way they should have been in the first place. Not only do they say God made a mistake but He also lied. Satan and all of his emps know that God cannot make a mistake, nor can He lie, so, what Satan does is intice and persuade young females and males who are very weak by nature. We are not all born with the same strength, and Satan knows that, so, he preys on the weak to become outsiders of the DIVINE ORDER OF GOD. Do you know what it means to be out of divine order? It is like being from America (home), and finding yourself in China, broke, hungry and out

PAGE 2

of doors, and cannot get back home (America). Listen to what God says: “ and even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind to do those things which are not convenient” (Roman 1:28). That term reprobate means that sense you think you are right in doing what you are doing I am going to make sure that you keep doing what you are doing, and you will not be able to think any other way, because I am going to turn you over to a reprobate mind. When God turns you over to a reprobate mind you are in real trouble. That means HELL. It would be good for all of us to read Romans 1:24-28. In God’s creative mind God blessed man and woman to be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the earth (Genesis 1:28). Can two women do that? Can two men do that? No! And that’s why they are turned over to a reprobate mind. God has always had divine order. Now, WHERE IS THE CHURCH? Based upon what is going in this country of ours today where some states are legalizing same sex marriages. The church is not saying anything, ye or ne about this ungodly matter. Where are we? Do we stand on God’s word or not? Our state and national conventions are standing idol on this subject. To be silent on this ungodly subject is an indictment against us as Christians, and as God’s Churches around the world. Why are the church communities so closed mouths about this thing of Gay marriage? Why can’t we go to the legislature and protest this abomination against God? In part 2 we will discuss the reason why we are not taking a position against this issue. Let us not forget to read our Bibles, and may God bless you real good, and may He ever keep you in His loving care.

Celebrating Black Music Month Is Hip-Hop Dead? By: Sherry Christian

Hip-Hop Defined: Hip-hop is a form of popular music that's comprised mainly of emceeing and deejaying. The other two components that complete the four elements of hip-hop are graffiti and breakdancing. As hip-hop evolves into big business, the four elements (emceeing, deejaying, graffiti, and breakdancing) are constantly being merged with others like clothing trends, slang, and general mindset. Rap vs. Hip-Hop: Rap is a form of music that stemmed from hip-hop culture. Hip hop is a lifestyle with its own lingo, dress code, etc. In the words of KRS-One, "hip-hop is something you live, rap is something you do."

Hip-hop is believed to have originated in the Bronx by a Jamaican DJ named Kool Herc. Herc's style of deejaying involved reciting rhymes over instrumentals. At house parties, Herc would rap with the microphone, using a myriad of in-house references. Duplicates of Herc's house parties soon drifted through Brooklyn, Manhattan. Herc and other block party DJs helped spread the message of hip-hop around town and spawned tons of followers.

Humble Beginnings: Some of the earliest rap songs ever recorded includes "King Tim III (Personality Jock)" by Fatback Band and "Rapper’s Delight" by the Sugarhill Gang. The latter reached the #36 spot on the Billboard charts (a huge feat by 1970's standards), thus demonstrating hip-hop's ability to draw commercial appeal.

Hip-Hop Started in the Bronx: A product of cross-cultural integration, rap is deeply rooted within ancient African culture and oral tradition.

Graduation Is A Wonderful Thing Twelve Years of Labor to Reward By Jordan Blair What does graduation mean? According to Webster, it’s the “award or acceptance of an academic degree or diploma.” After 12 or more years of getting up and going to school, studying, working, toiling, and preparing each day for the next; after seeking help when needed from family members, relatives, and friends; after participating in extracurricular activities such as the band, drill team, choir and sports, graduation day has finally arrived. Not only is this a special time for the graduates, but it’s special for parents and other family members as well. While some families may be experiencing the joy of presenting their first graduate, other families will become empty nesters. But whatever the case may be, it’s a proud moment to be enjoyed by all family members. On that note, I would like to redefine graduation. Graduation is a culmination of hard work, not only by the student but by the parents, the many surrogate parents, principals, teachers, preachers, aunts, uncles, brothers, sisters, grandparents and friends who constantly give help and encouragement, often reminding the students to stay in school and reiterating how important it is to get an education – and to further their education. Many of us can remember crossing that same bridge and at the fork in the road, trying to decide whether to go right or left. Whether you believe this or not, it does take

Danielle Browning Irving MacArthur High School

Kendall Wilson Navarro County Junior College

a village or community to raise our children - the village may be smaller, but believe me, it still exists. There used to be a time when not only immediate family members could attend a graduation but extended family members could attend as well. Because there are no facilities in the Metroplex that will accommodate a large crowd, schools are forced to distribute a certain (small) amount of tickets to students, which only allows a select group of people from each family to attend graduations. But nevertheless, graduation is a wonderful thing and

we should encourage our graduates to take it to the next level. It is said that the more education you have the more your earning capacity increases. Graduates, we are proud of you but more importantly, be proud of yourselves and your achievements. In the words of Lelious Johnson at a graduation address, his message was “Don’t Park Right Here.” As you move forward in your endeavors, there is much for you to achieve. It’s never full at the top. So GRADUATES, as you move the tassels of your cap to the other side, remember that this is the beginning of your next level of achievement. "We Are Our Sister's Keeper" By Debra Blair Abron The "Exiting” Ervay Cedar Baptist Church, where Rev. Tommy L. Brown, is the Sr. Pastor held it's 2nd Annual Prayer Breakfast under the leadership of First Lady Nell Brown May 23, in the fellowship hall. Guest speaker was none other than little ole me, our theme was "We are our sister's keeper", and these sisters are on fire! The church is a family of believers working together to exalt the Savior through worship, evangelize sinners through witnessing, equip saints through discipleship and validate society through ministry, they pray, praise, and proclamation the Word of God. When I walked through the doors of the Church I felt the Spirit of the Lord, everyone was so warm I felt as if I knew every face I saw. The sister's were working in harmony, it was actually a real prayer breakfast we prayed for the sick, the government, the young women prayed for their fellow teens in the world, they prayed for everybody, we sang, we dance all in the Spirit of God. The work at this church is feverish. These sister's are their sister's keeper. First Lady Nell Brown has always been pregnant with the idea "Sisters Strengthening Sisters", and she has birthed this project two years ago. You can go online and visit www.sisters-sisters.com, and see where you can become part of this world-

wide organization and support it, go in and signed the guest book. First Lady Nell Brown gave me a beautiful gift a hand fan in which she designed, along with her other designs mugs, t-shirts, mirrors, and tote bags, that can be purchased. In attendance Rev. T. L. Brown, Minister of music Brent Fitzgerald Polk, Head table Mistress of ceremony Sister Emma McDonald, Welcome, Sister TaShonda Jenkins, Introduction of speaker Sister Barbara Williams, and presentation Sister Patty Kemp, also in attendance and gave some words of wisdom to us all Dr. William Blair, Jr., founder and Sr. Publisher of Elite News. Continued from Page 3 Hip-Hop As a Melting Pot: Hip-hop as a musical melting pot is still evolving. It has become more eclectic, borrowing from soul, jazz and live instrumentations with the likes of De La Soul, A Tribe Called Quest, and most recently Kanye West championing the ‘soulful rap’ movement. Back in hip-hop's heyday of the '80s and early '90s, some of the most popular groups were also some of the most vibrant. They seemed to be working together to speak about the black experience and create the melting pot that made hip-hop so refreshing and vital. In the late '80s, there was such a diversity (in hip-hop)," says Kevin Powell, former Vibe magazine senior writer and editor of "Who Shot Ya? Three Decades of Hip-Hop Photography." "If you were a young black male growing up then, you could aspire to be Chuck D, Big Daddy Kane, Too Short, or Doug E. Fresh. You had choices. That doesn't exist any more." So what happened? How did rap devolve from its glorious past to what even some founders suggest is its least innovative period? One of the reasons for the nihilistic themes that dominate today's rap music can be traced directly to the rise of the crack epidemic in urban communities. Another reason for the shift in hip-hop is that the consumers have changed, when black

June 5, 2009

sales were a large portion of rap sales, who were the big (rap) groups? Whodini ("One Love"), Run-DMC, Slick Rick. It wasn't the stuff that we hear now. The rap records that are sold (now) are usually sold in chains in the suburbs. They're sold to white kids in the suburbs that are looking for something more rebellious; they're not trying to hear any love songs!" Despite these problems with the music, there are some rappers, who are bucking the trend and are being courageous enough to talk about more diverse themes. When you look at the state that (rap) is in, it's very corporate and that's what takes away a lot of the purity of it. But I think it's starting to change as people such as myself are getting more exposure (and) balancing out some of the other hip-hop that lacks the love for the art and the effort of innovation." I believe that there are many innovative hip-hop artists out there that just need an opportunity to be heard. "We have to understand that the best stuff is going to be in the underground. There are people doing independent records right now that are putting out good music, (but) not getting exposure. So the question again is “IS HIP HOP DEAD”? (http://rap.about.com/od/rootsofraphiphop/p/RootsOfRap.htm ); (Davey D’s Hip Hop Corner Hip Hop Commentary – Walter Dawkins)

The Facts About Friendships Proverbs 18:24 “A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.” We all need friends, but few understand the basics about forming quality friendships. A true friend is someone with whom you enjoy mutual affection, interests and respect Henry Nelson for. The best friends are those who are helpers in times of trouble. Those who are our advocates when you find yourself in need. The kind of friends that are worth their weight in gold. Solomon once wrote, "A brother is born for times of adversity, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother - that is God our closest companion." Amen Jesus said, "Greater love has no one than this that he lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command. I have called you friend for everything I have learned from my Father I have made known to you." Christ’s friendship gives us everlasting love, direction and revelation of His will for our life. Friendships are enhanced when you share mutual goals, values and power. Jesus knew that the best kinds of friendships would come from an intimate relationship with Him. Nothing comes close to the satisfaction we get when we are in close communication with the Lord Jesus. Friendship is enhanced when you share mutual activities that contribute to the qualitative and quantitative expansion of the kingdom of God and His righteousness. This might be best illustrated by a triangle. When two people want to get closer to one another they must first draw closer to the Jesus at the apex of the triangle. As they draw closer to the Lord in obedience, love and trust, they will find themselves drawing closer to one another. Too many people falsely assume that they can form friendships without making Christ the center of all relationships. Without Jesus at the center of every friendship it will eventually fail or cause us to put people above our devotion to God. Friendship is a way that we can show our love for one another as we are commanded to do. True friendship evidences the qualities of patience, kindness, gentleness and faithfulness without seeking its own interests. Love makes friendships grow by adding enrichment to every relationship. Love is not anxious to impress nor does it cherish inflated ideas of its own importance. It knows no limit to endurance because it bears all things, believes the best in every person, hopes for the best in every difficult situation and endures all kinds of disappointments. Without an agape love, friendships are mercurial, fleeting and fair weathered in nature. A friend is the first person who comes in when the whole world goes out. Friendship also provides the relationships that bring about 90% of the people into the family of God. Consistently, statistics tell us

that about 90% of the people who become Christians do so through a friend or a family member. Friendship evangelism provides a warm relationship where people are able to feel the affection of a loving Christian before they are presented with the hard truths of the gospel. Few people seem to be willing to extend friendships to people before they lay the truths of the gospel on the people around them. May the Lord help us to be kind to all, friendly, and willing to serve those around us by extending a helping hand. The Lord befriended many as a way of demonstrating the love that gives even when others misunderstand, ignore or criticize the giver. Friendships are so valuable because through them we receive encouragement, consolation of love, fellowship and affirmation. Consider the great contribution that the friendship of Jonathan and David provided for men in their times of need. Without friends it is often difficult to overcome the hardships of life. We all need support, affirmation and interaction with people who care for us. If you want a friend, you must show yourself to be a friend, wrote Solomon. I heard a story which is an example of friendship which remains with me as vividly as the moment I first heard of it as a boy. In his first seasons with the Brooklyn Dodgers, Jackie Robinson, the first black man to play Major League baseball, faced venom nearly everywhere he traveled--fastballs at his head, spikings on the bases, brutal epithets from the opposing dugouts and from the crowds. During one game in Boston, the taunts and racial slurs seemed to reach a peak. In the midst of this, another Dodger, a Southern white named Pee Wee Reese, called timeout. He walked from his position at shortstop toward Robinson at second base, put his arm around Robinson’s shoulder, and stood there with him for what seemed like a long time. The gesture spoke more eloquently than the words: This man is my friend. Ephesians 4:15 says, “Allow the Lord to use friends to help you grow in all aspects in Christ as they speak the truth in love.” Amen! Choose your friends carefully or you will become like those who have settled for medioc-

www.dfwelitenews.com

rity, faulty assumptions or standards that are less than Biblical ideas. In a survey of more than 40,000 Americans said these qualities were most valued in a friend: 1. The ability to keep confidences 2. Loyalty 3. Warmth and affection. Friendships bring the benefit of allowing us to disciple people who need to learn more of Christ’s will for their life. Paul discipled Timothy in the context of a friendly relationship. He wrote in 2nd Timothy 2:2, "The things you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, the same commit to faithful men who will be able to teach others also." Amen! Friendships should be on different levels. There are some friendships that will be on a mere acquaintance level, some will involve the sharing of facts, others will allow us to share more of our emotions and inner most feelings, other will be more engaging as we involve ourselves in sharing responsibilities and then finally there will be some rare friendships where we are able to be completely transparent, open and honest with a few close friends. Ask the Lord to help you be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding so you can know what level of friendship to have with each person you meet. My opinion of people depends less upon what I see in them than upon what they make me see in themselves. Now you some facts on friendship. Amen!

GREGG A. SMITH’S “BACKYARD SPOTLIGHT” Joe Kubek

Joe Kubek was born 30 November 1956, Grove City, Pennsylvania, USA. Having grown up in Irving, Texas, Kubek was playing in Dallas clubs at the age of 14. Three years later, he took a deeper interest in blues, prompted by Eric Clapton and Peter Green, and formed his first band. Shortly afterwards, he played

Joe Kubek

rhythm guitar behind Freddie King until King's death in December 1976. After a short spell with Robert Whitfield's Last Combo, he joined Al Braggs' band and also recorded with Charlie Robinson, Big Ray Anderson and Ernie Johnson, and on Little Joe Blue's album, It's My Turn Now. In 1989, Kubek teamed up with singer/guitarist Bnois King, from Monroe, Louisiana, whose soul-tinged vocals and jazz-orientated style contrasted well with Kubek's more strident finger and slide techniques. The Axe Man is an album of cover versions recorded before their debut for the Bullseye Blues label, Steppin' Out Texas Style. Subsequent releases have consolidated the duo's reputation as a solid, entertaining act. Another young Texas axeman from the old school, Smokin' Joe Kubek issued his band's debut disc in 1991 on Bullseye Blues, Steppin' Out Texas Style. Kubek was already playing his smokin' guitar on the Lone State chitlin circuit at age 14, supporting such musicians as Freddie King. Soon, he formed his own band and began playing a number of bars across Dallas. In the '80s, he met guitarist/vocalist Bnois King, a native of Monroe, LA, and the duo formed the first

June 5, 2009

edition of the Smokin' Joe Kubek Band. The Smokin' Joe Kubek Band began playing the rest of the Southwest in the late '80s. In 1991, they signed to Bullseye Blues, releasing their debut, Steppin' Out Texas Style, the same year. Following its release, the band launched their first national tour. For the rest of the '90s, the Smokin' Joe Kubek Band toured the United States and toured frequently and issued records like 1993's Texas Cadillac, 1996's Got My Mind Back, and 2000's Bite Me. In 2003 Kubek and guitarist/vocalist Bnois King released Roadhouse Research on the Blind Pig label. The duo's second release for Blind Pig, Show Me the Money, came out in 2004. A single-disc collection of some of the best tracks from the Bullseye Blues years, Served Up Texas Style, came out in 2005. A third album from Blind Pig Records, My Heart's in Texas, was released in 2006. Another joint effort with King, Blood Brothers, appeared in 2008. Kubek, with his staggering arsenal of instruments, effects and technique, delivers a frenzied, flame-throwing guitar display that is tempered by the remarkable accompaniment of Bnois King's jazz influenced guitar. Kubek, coming from the blazing Texas blues/rock background, found in Bnois King's smooth jazz guitar stylings a finesse and fat chord sound that was a perfect complement to his technique. The combination just clicked with a seamless mesh of styles. King lays down a bed of smooth supporting jazz chords on his hollow bodied Gibson that allows Kubek to take center stage and play with almost reckless abandon. Together this dynamic duo has recorded 7 albums for Bullseye Blues & Jazz Records, the newest being the 2000 "BITE ME." So buckle up and get ready for a one-two punch, thrill-a-minute ride of highoctane Texas blues.

Eph.6:10-18 was our lesson in church school. This lesson reminded us that the Christian life is warfare and we must dress for the fight. We are to put on the “Whole” Armor of God not just selected pieces. Some would rather not Eld. Lloyd carry a shield, but if you T. Morgan are going to deflect the darts of Satan that we need the shield of faith. Some may think that the breast plate of righteousness is not fashionable now days, but if the enemy strikes our vital parts it over. So I would advise all that name the name of Jesus to put on this armor every morning through prayer and meditation. Remember that we are not fighting against flesh and blood but against “spiritual” wickedness in high places. We are called to fight a battle that is already won through Christ our

Lord. Our Sunday message was delivered by Pastor L.T.Morgan entitled “The beauty of loving one another” 1Peter3:8; Ps 133:1.This love is made evident by a unity of mind. There is a difference between unity and uniformity; unity means having cooperation in the midst of diversity. Some may think that if you are not like me something is wrong with you. But the members of the body of Christ are called on to work together in unity, even though they are all different. As believers we may differ on how things should be done, but we must agree on what is to be done and why. It is then that we can say with the psalmist “Behold how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity.” Sunday we will be the guest of Galilee Missionary Baptist church where Rev.L.R. Davis is pastor; they will be celebrating their 62nd church Anniversary. Be blessed

SPORTS Prairie View A&M Mourns The Loss of Legendary Band Director George “Prof” Edwards PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas--(May 29, 2009)--TODAY, Prairie View A&M University mourns the death of Professor and Director of Bands George Edwards. He directed PVAMU’s world renowned Marching Storm Band for 30 years, before his death on May 28. “On behalf of the entire PVAMU community, we offer our deepest condolences to the entire Edwards family. For three decades we were fortunate to have George contribute to our community and nurture the talent of our student performers,” states PVAMU President George C. Wright. Affectionately known around campus as “Prof Edwards”, Edwards first arrived at Prairie View A&M in 1978. Under his tenure, the university’s Marching Storm Band entertained audiences around the U.S. and the world and developed a reputation for its unique sound. Prairie View A&M’s band, once known as the “Funky 50,” was renamed under Edwards’ leadership and vision in 1984. Today, the Marching Storm is now considered among the most dynamic and skilled bands in the world for its unparalleled musical artistry, and electrify-

showcased during each performance. Many music scholars attribute the growing popularity of drum line techniques to Edwards and Prairie View A&M. A highlight in his distinguished career, Edwards directed the Marching Storm Band’s inaugural performance in the 120th Tournament of Roses Association Rose Parade in Pasadena, Calfi. on New Year’s Day 2009. Prairie View A&M’s band was the first band to perform in the Rose Parade pilot program to include bands from historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) in the parade each year. A tribute to his success and unique skill, Texas A&M University System (TAMUS) Chancellor Michael McKinney invited Edwards, the Marching Storm Band and the Black Foxes auxiliary dance troupe, under the direction of Margaret Sherrod, to perform at Kyle Field during a Texas A&M University game— a first in the history of the TAMUS. Under Edward’s tenure, the Marching Storm also performed in President George W. Bush’s Presidential Inaugural Parade in Washington, D.C. in 2001 and was a fea-

tured performer in the 2004 Dallas Cowboys’ Thanksgiving Day game. In 2006, he led the band to perform in the ESSENCE Music Festival in Houston. For three consecutive years, the Prairie View A&M University’s Marching Storm Band performed in the Honda Battle of the Bands Invitational Showcase, which later allowed Edwards and the band to be featured in “Stompin’ at the Dome” a DVD band documentary, which featured PVAMU. The world was introduced to Edwards’ skill and the PVAMU Marching Storm during a feature in the British documentary “Marching All Together,” which aired on the BBC Network. In 2007, Edwards’ compassion and fierce dedication was captured by the New York Times’ in a video and article which covered the Band leading up to the annual Labor Day Classic football game between Prairie View A&M and Texas Southern University. Prairie View A&M University has numerous on-campus resources available to assist students, faculty and staff during this time of mourning. The PVAMU Health & Counseling

Tubbs was taken to Charleton Methodist Hospital by his longtime companion, Mari Hamilton, after complaining of difficulty breathing. He passed away on Saturday Morning May 10, 2009. WAHEED’S PICS PAST & PRESENT ON THE SCENE WITH THE ELITE NEWS Pastor Vincent E. Davis Special Sermon “Stay In The Boat” By Jordan Blair Dallas, Tx. – May 31, 2009 at 7pm at the Exciting Greater New St. John Church Pastor Vincent E. Davis delivered a power packed and very animated sermon (message) on why you should stay in the boat. Pastor Davis is one of Dallas most gifted and anointed pastors. God has truly preserved this preacher. Jokingly he brags about being part of the generation that’s from “OLD SCHOOLVILLE”. Pastor Davis delivers the word of God with freshness for the present; his preaching style takes you back to a time when you did not need a dictionary to understand what was being preached. The young, as well as the old will testify to the fact they have no problem recalling what his sermons are about from week to week. In this message he was simply trying to find out who is willing to stay in the boat and follow Jesus. Matthew 8: 23-26 states, “And when he got into the boat, his disciples followed him. And behold, there arose a great storm on the sea, so that the boat was

was a great calm. “In a conclusion what would you do? Would you have faith in the Lord and stay in the boat or would you allow self and little faith to cause you to sink? Threw illustration Pastor Vincent gave several different ways on how and why you should stay in the boat. He wants everybody to first and foremost understand just how important it is to trust God and Stay in the Boat. “Pastor Davis has an old style message with a new style delivery. He set the atmosphere by singing a few songs of praise Pastor Davis stands with ministers in the pulpit. “His Grace” and “I want Jesus to walk with me”. Pastor Davis has being swamped by the waves; but he was asleep. Blues queen Koko Taylor dies at 80 Koko Taylor, a sharecropper's daughter whose regal bearing and powerful voice earned her the sobriquet "Queen of the Blues," has died after complications from surgery. She was 80. Taylor died Wednesday at Northwestern Memorial Hospital about two weeks after having surgery for a gastrointestinal bleed, said Marc Lipkin, director of publicity for her record label, Alligator Records, which made the announcement. "The passion that she brought and the fire and the growl in her voice when she sang was the truth," blues singer and musician Ronnie Baker Brooks said Wednesday. "The music will live on, but it's much better because of Koko. It's a huge loss."

In the course of her career, Taylor was nominated seven times for Grammy awards and won in 1984. Taylor last performed on May 7 in Memphis, Tenn., at the Blues Music Awards. In most years, she performed at least 100 concerts a year. "Blues is my life," Taylor once said. "It's a true feeling that comes from the heart, not something that just comes out of my mouth. Blues is what I love, and blues is what I always do." Survivors include her daughter; husband Hays Harris; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements will be announced, the label said.
