Behind The Wheel With THE KING (Arthur Prayther)
LEXUS GX 460 Dallas, Texas- As we move into our first ever Lexus Month with A King-size View we are going to have four profiles on Lexus product line. Yes for the month of April we test drove nothing but Lexus products and we are happy to report on all of them. Starting out with the GX 460-5-
door-SUV a newly restyled vehicle with all the trimming and priced at just under 56 Grand. The new GX 460 is powered by a 4.6 Liter V8-32-valve Dual Overhead Cam engine with variable valve timing and 301 horsepower with 329 pounds per feet of torque. This baby gets 15
miles per gallon in the city and 20 on the road for an average of 17 miles per gallon. Believe me it did those number because our trip was nearly 600 miles round trip so we had an excellent opportunity to check it out. Man let me say it was a quality ride and making the trip along we were certainly able to take full advantage of the Lexus Premium Display Audio System. The 8.0inch touch screen with backup camera made it easy for us to go from HD radio with read time traffic and weather to listening to my newly released Millie Jackson Country Single and on to Ernie Johnson’s new Blues CD release. The 10-way power front seats with Lexus memory
system made it easy for me to select the way I wanted to roll and set it for our weeklong test drive. Lets talk for a minute about this all-time 4WD with torsen unlimited slip center differential with electronic locking feature. Power rolls to the pavement on 18-inch split-spoke Alloy wheels wrapped by P285/60R18-inch Mud and Snow tires. Yes it does have anti-locking brakes and electronic brake force distribution and brake assist as well as vehicle stability control plus trailer sway control. Lexus thought about everything when putting this 7-passengers vehicle together. The middle row seats come with reclining
Page 2
and sliding features with 60/40 split and 50/50 fold flat third row seats. More on the safety side is a blind spot monitor and rear cross-traffic alert. Plus power retracting auto dimming outer mirrors rounds out the inside out of the new Lexus GX 460. With the premium package you also get leather-trimmed seats, mahogany wood trim and rain sensing wipers to name a few. Heated and ventilate front seats and automatic climate control to all a couple of more. In closing please allow me to add the new Lexus GX 460 puts you in automobile Heaven!

LEXUS LS 460L - A CLASSIC FOUR-DOOR LUXURY SEDAN By King Arthur Prayther A King-Size View Some folks said the truly fullsize sedan was giving away to a more state-of-the-art automobile with the new breed. But the Lexus LS 460L is a classic yet modern up to date full-size sedan has few peers these days. Simply for the fact most automakers have gone to a overall smaller vehicle. But the LS 460 L is still one of the true fullsize vehicles on the market today. Lets just take a look at the new 460L, to start with the vehicle is powered by a 4.6 Liter four cam 32 valve V8 engine that produces 388 horsepower and still manages to get 24 miles per gallon on the highway, however the vehicles get 16 in the city. Now lets take a look at the options we are talking the type of vehicle you use to only drive on Sundays and is kept in the garage. Our test vehicle came in a pretty starfire Pearl and looks like a combination of the future and the past rolled into one. The 8-speed sequential automatic transmission allows one to take advantage of good fuel consumption during normal driving speeds and the 388 horses allows you to get off the line with sports cars when desired. This combination helps to put the LS 460L in a class by itself. Fact is the three drive mode selections make this point even more clear. Driver can choose from eco/normal or sports modes and throw in electronic power steering. The sports mode gets more breathing room from Hollow camber 18 inch aluminum Alloy wheels with liquid graphite finish wrapped by P 235/50R18 V-rated tire and yes it has a full-size spare. Optional
19 inch split-seven spoke allow wheels with high gloss finish and all-season tires. Granted it will cost you a little more to operate this vehicle over the years but I’m certain you will find it’s worth every cent extra that you might have to spend. The rear seats have recline feature allowing the back seat riders to actually tilt back and go to sleep if need be on long trips. Fact is this vehicle came in at halfway between 92 and 93 Thousand Dollars. When it comes to safety the new LS 460 L has driver and front passenger advanced air bags with front passenger twin-chamber airbags and front seat mounted side airbags. The driver and front passenger also have
The 2014 Lexus LS 460L
knee airbags and front and rear side curtain airbags. Anti-locking brakes with brake force distribution and brake assist makes stopping the new Lexus about as much fun as driving it. Another feature that caught my eyes was the high intensity discharge Bi-Xenon headlamps with adaptive front lighting system and dynamic auto leveling and integrated LED fog lamps and turn signals. Man this vehicle can almost look around a corner for you in night driving conditions. Safety connect automatic collision notification as well as
stolen vehicle location and emergency assist button SOS and enhanced roadside assistance. Oh yes I’d say they thought of just about everything along these lines. We are talking entertainment center type sound system with the Mark Levinson 19-speaker with single DVD/CD player ultra luxury package adds a few dollars to the base price of 78 Grand plus. Climate comfort for driver and front seat passengers as power rear door shades reminds you of a few years ago. Wood trimmed climate and audio controls and rear center
armrest with air purifier/cool box. By the way before I forget the steering wheel has heated wood with leather center pad. Luxury and convenience features includes a high resolution 12.3 inch screen with remote touch interface. Lexus Enform with destination assist and Sirius XM radio, Nav traffic, NavWeather, stocks, sports and fuel prices all with one full year free trial. Intuitive park assist as well as automatic door closer. Throw in a one touch power open/close moon roof and you have yourself a Classic Full-size Luxury sedan with all the trimmings!

LEXUS RX 350 STILL GOING STRONG By King Arthur Prayther A King-Size View This is the one that started it all long years ago. It was the Lexus RX 250 in the old days as the first of the Small Crossover type SUV. Now years later the new 2014 Lexus RX 350 is holding the fort with another good showing and still coming in at just over 51 Grand. Here’s what it has to offer a 3.5 Liter 270 horse powered four cam 24-valve V6 engine with variable valve timing and a 8-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. Yes we did mean to write 8-speed transmission and we think you know that translates into better mileage during normal driving. Fact is the new Lexus reports 18 miles per gallon in the city and 26 on the highway This will safe you over one grand in fuel cost over a five year period. Our test vehicle came with full-time active Torque control All-Wheel Drive and 18 inch aluminum wheels with All-season Tires. This model the F-sport tune suspension with front and rear performance dampers added to what was already a quality ride and feel. On the safe side this model has 10 air bags along with all of the braking technology to bring it to a safe swift stop. The F-Sport front bumpers ad spindle grille gives it a more aggressive look
and that’s what they are trying to show in this new model. A 5-star overall rating from the NHTSA is a clear indication of how safe this new SUV is. Blind spot monitor and auto dimming rear view mirrors adds to this list of world class safety features. Inside you are greeted with a 10way power heated/ventilated front seats with memory feature. The steering wheel is power and tilt as well as telescopic. The F-Sport exclusive leather interior trim and aluminum pedals steering wheel and shift knobs.

LEXUS RX 450H REALLY SAVES FUEL By King Arthur Prayther A King-Size View My mind quickly goes back to the first time we test drove a hybrid. It was the 200 Toyota Prius and man people from all over gathered around it because they just couldn’t believe it was running without the engine being on. Well that’s exactly what was happening. The new Lexus RX 450h is powered by a 3.5 liter 24-valve DOHC V6 with VVT and is front wheel driven. This is teamed with an electric drive motor with Lexus hybrid drive. While all this is mated to an electronically controlled continuously variable transmission. The power rolls to the pavement on 18 inch aluminum wheels. Producing 32 miles per gallon in the city and 28 miles per gallon on the highway this Lexus can save you roughly 2,000 dollars in fuel cost over a five year period during normal driving habits. When it comes to safe this Lexus has a side crash rating of 5-star for both front and rear seat riders ad 4-star rating for driver and front passengers in frontal crashes and a 4-star overall rating by the NHTSA. There are 10 air bags including knee and side curtains as Lexus puts in a safe heaven while riding in this vehicle. On the subject of stopping the new Lexus anti-locking brakes with electronic brake force distribution as well as brake assist. LED daytime running lamps helps to add to awareness when you are behind the wheel of this Lexus. Inside the new Lexus the driver is greeted to a 10-way heated and ventilated power seat and so is the front passenger. A power
tilt and telescopic steering column allows the driver to get the perfect fit. The rear seats are 40/20/40 reclining and sliding and the back door is also powered. Plus there is genuine wood trim all over the interior of this model. Sounds are provided by a 12speaker entertainment Audio system with single DVD/CD player with HD radio with iTunes tagging. Navigation system with voice command and 1year free trial SOS emergency button as well as stolen vehicle location along with automatic collision notification. The Premium Package includes leather trim interior and blind spot monitor system and bamboo interior trim to really set off what is already a good looking interior. In closing let me add the vehicle we tested came in at just over 54 grand. The hybrid battery and all its components are under warranty for 8 years or 100,000 miles. That’s standing behind your product!

Out and About with John Engel
THE JOURNEY All my life I have heard that “It is not the destination but the journey”. I have also been told that “getting there is half the fun”. If vacation planning is part of the journey then getting there is definitely half the fun. I am fortunate enough to be preparing for a Bucket List trip. My family is going on a cruise to Alaska. The unfortunate part is that it involves an incredible amount of planning! First you must select the vacation. Visiting various search engines and cruise bookers we selected a cruise that met our needs. We chose an early season cruise so we could all get the needed time off of work. In addition to my family, my sister and her husband from Michigan are meeting us so we can enjoy the time together.
We now have the cruise selected and the time off arranged. Now we must select cabins. As this trip is mostly close to land and we are going to have the opportunity so view glaciers and other natural wonders we upgraded to balcony cabins. That was another challenge. We wanted to get adjoining cabins! As we were booking three months in advance we were fortunate enough to get cabins on a high deck and on the side of the ship that we preferred. (I am looking forward to sitting on the balcony in the morning with a cup of coffee and a glacier view.) OK, we have a cruise. How do we get there? Due to US Maritime Law this cruise leaves from Vancouver, British Colombia and returns to Seattle, Washington. Flights to
Vancouver are outrageous so we elected to fly round trip to Seattle. We also have a couple of days on the front of the cruise so we decided to spend them in Seattle. Round trip air fare is not hard to book. My sister and her husband decided to do the same schedule so we could have more time together. After we both booked our flights we compared notes to find we arrive within ten minutes of each other. The first to arrive will wait for the other. We then can share a ride to the hotel. There are two more hurdles to climb. First, we need a ride to the hotel. Back I go to the internet. With luck there is a van service that leaves from the airport and services most area hotels. Also, the fee is VERY reasonable! We do not even need reservations (A red flag for me, but I will deal with it.) Next we need a place to stay for two nights. Again, the internet to the rescue. A reasonable hotel in a great area is found and booked. If we are going to be there for two days we need to see the sights. Not hard to do but you need to be centrally located and near transportation. Turns out the hotel is spitting distance from the Space Needle and next to a monorail stop. The final piece in this transportation puzzle is getting to Vancouver. A bus company I used to drive for just shut down Seattle operations and only one
other company offered service. I called them and they were not publishing a schedule until less than 30 days before we sail. I waited with nervous anticipation, checking every couple of days. Finally a schedule was published and I made reservations immediately. Luck again struck us and the pickup point is the hotel next to ours. The trip is planned. One last issue to deal with: the home front. Buy enough pet food to get by the trip and arrange for someone to feed them. Make sure the mail is picked up and the newspaper brought in. Set the lights on timers. Ask the sitter to move the cars in front of the house around occasionally. The devil is in the details! I now have a massive amount of information. Reservations, booking numbers, boarding passes, coupons for parking, port excursions and many other bits of paper. To keep them in order, I created a trip folder. Using sheet protectors and labeled tags I put together an easy to access file for each piece of the journey. I had to include baggage tags for the ship separate from the airline, passports and tour books. Of course, as nervous as I get, this information was viewed, reviewed and reviewed again. Now to pack. I pack at least three weeks before I leave. With changing weather, several modes of transportation and formal din-
ing on the ship a LOT of clothing was needed. Bags are laid out and contents reviewed. A separate bag for Seattle is best as I did not want to unpack and pack everything twice; especially since the Vancouver bus leaves about 6:00 AM. As I remember something it is added to the bags. (Rain is a good possibility so umbrellas in the Seattle bag.) Extra things are removed. (Do we really need three tubes of toothpaste for ten days?) While planning, my sister in law came by. She laughed at me telling me I was “ONE OF THOSE” meaning a planner that sweats every detail. She said I should just go with it and it will work out. Not for me! I cannot see spending three hours on the phone in a Seattle hotel looking for a bus to Vancouver at the last minute. In addition, like it says at the top of the page, planning is part of the journey. I have ridden motorcycles for over 40 years and always felt that the journey was as much fun as the destination. All stress aside, every time I open the travel folder and tick off another day on the calendar I get a bit more excited about the trip. Next month I will share the destination with you and let you know how all this planning paid off.

ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
ANDRE MARENCO The hard hitting baseball player who just a year ago went to Alief Taylor High School where he batted.380 or so and played both left and right field. But things just didn’t work out for him at Sam Houston State where he planned to major in Criminal Justice. So now he plans to enroll at Alvin Junior College and hope to play well enough to get drafted into the minors and some day play in the majors. While working out at the Urban Youth Academy Park in Acres Home Marenco says the coaches are real pleasing to work with. “They don’t just watch you hit
the ball, the come to you and break it down to you so you can fully understand what is going on with your swing and everything”. He went to add the League is good for the game and has helped a great deal of players because of the way the staff over there teaches the players who enter the program”. Feeling he has a good enough swing on the ball to make it to the big leagues someday soon, Andre made it clear he is willing to work hard and when given his shot he plans to make the most of it!

HOUSTON ASTROS URBAN YOUTH ACADEMY TO HOLD TRYOUTS IN MAY By King Arthur Prayther A King-Size View The Houston Astros Urban Youth Academy in Acre Homes at Sylvester Turner Park will be holding their annual tryouts on May 3rd. According to Duane Stelly one of the coaches and directors of the programs they are looking forward to handling the young and older group of kids this year. There will be tryouts and All-star games as well as travel dates for those who qualify. While there was not games played this past weekend
we took a look at some players who were working out and taking advantage of the coaches giving them tips. Marcus X. Marks and Brandon Mikell joined Stelly in working with the youth. Shane Jackson and Austin Alexis came all the way from Manvel to take advantages of the workouts. Jackson a linebacker and Alexis a receiver on Manvel’s football team enjoyed hitting a few ball and taking some batting instructions also.
and Andre Marenco and Charleston Keer of Alief Taylor High School. After talking with Daryl Wade who is executive Director of the Academy we got a good feeling about what’s going on over
there. Wade the former Aldine and HISD Director of Athletic had a brief stint in the minor league during his playing days. Without a doubt he certainly knows how important these hot summer days came be to players wanting to make big in the sport
of baseball! We hope to get back over there and follow some of the action this summer as the league hits full swing.

The Way I See It By BIG John Chandler SOME GOOD NEWS - SORT OF AUSTIN TX-As we watched the clock run down as Galena Park North Shore won the 2014 boys state basketball title, I woncered what I would write about. It was a no brainer, the
free throw shooting around Texas and the country has improved! I said improved! Yes, I said improved! Now I don’t mean young ballers are shooting over 80%. But the technique and the concentration, something I
#34 - 3030 SOUTH LANCASTER @ KIEST DALLAS, TEXAS, 75216 (214) 302-4000 #65 - 2225 WEST LEDBETTER DALLAS, TEXAS 75224 (214) 331-0270 #68 6401 ABRAMS, DALLAS, TEXAS 75321 #76 4245 EAST BERRY STREET FORTH WORTH, TEXAS 76105 haven’t seen in many years is there. Both girls and boys appear to be eager to make as many free throws as possible during each game. It‘s refreshing to see this happening with our young players. They have a long way to go and trust me a long way to go means just that, but a great start is what I see. I’ve seen the improvement with Houston Rocket Dwight Howard this season as he seems to be relaxed at the free throw line. Maybe that’s the key: become very relaxed at the line. The free throw is very easy to shoot and the athelete is calm before the attempt, Calvin
Murphy, one of the greatest free throw shooters in basketball history stated “those were my points and I want to get all of my points” He did just that and seems to have worked nagic with Howard. The high school coaches gave done the same. I know fans will say that’s their job and if players don’t become better free throw shooters, cut their playing-time. Guess how many ballers would be dressed? Coaches have been taking a verbal beating for years and something snapped within them. They have so many issues to work with today that student-athelete
free-throw shooting just took a backseat, but I guess they have decided to teach the youngsters that free throws are a very important. aspect of the game. Maybe I’m old; I just enjoy the way the game was played back in the day. I know this; basketball, football and basebakk was better to play and watch during my childhood days 40 years ago. Young atheletes play by the rules of the game-practice shooting free throws! That’s just the way I see it!

THE A-NOTE with Aaron Watson
AARON'S FABLES Three men (one with no hands, one with no feet, and one with no sight) came and interrupted a wise man teaching about "THE EXCUSE" stating the following: The man with no hands said "If I had hands there would be no excuse for not working for everything my heart desires"The
man without sight says "If I had sight there is no excuse for not seeing the world and all of its glorious wonders."The man with no feet said "If I had feet, there would be no excuse for not being where I needed to be."They then asked the wise man "Since you are so wise;
what could possibly be THE EXCUSE, when your students have everything?" The wise man responded to all three saying "It humors me that you do not know THE EXCUSE because you have learn to use it so very well" The three men all at the same time said "What do you mean?" The wise man smiled and replied "A human can not look to other humans as if they are more equipped for life then they ...... focus on what you do have, and you would hardly ever notice what you don't have"Then the wise man sighed but was not mad as he stated this concludes

WHAT IS TRUTH? CURSING! In the religious world today there are many proclaiming to be “Christ-ians”. It is evident, using New Testament scripture as a guide, the name Christian is the most misused name on the face of the earth. The name itself indicates ownership, lifestyle, and duty; the owner, being Christ, and the lifestyle being Christ. The duty, is striving to be followers of God through Christ and the words of His Apostles (see John17:20-23). This makes us one and right “righteous” with God. There are many proclaiming to belong to Christ, but the lifestyle [things that are in the mind, and the things proceeding out of the mouth (conversation)], are vain, carnal and are not of Christ. Note the apostle Paul as he warned the church of and by Christ in Rome; Rom 8: 5 For they that are after the flesh do (1)mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be (2)carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.7 Because the carnal mind is (3)enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. 10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. Definitions: (1)mind the things of the flesh 5426 phroneo (fron-eh’o); from 5424; to exercise the mind, to be (mentally) disposed, to interest oneself in (with concern or obedience): KJV— set the affection on, (be like-, + be of one, + be of the same, mind (-ed), regard, savour, think….(2)carnally minded is death-4561 sarx (sarx);probably from the base of 4563; flesh, (by extension) the body (as opposed to the soul [or spirit], or as the symbol of what is external, or as the means of kindred), or (by implication) human nature (with its frailties [physically or morally] and passions), or (specifically) a human being (as such): KJV— carnal (-ly, + -ly minded), flesh ([ly])……(3)enmity against God2189 echthra (ekh’-thrah); feminine of 2190; hostility; by implication, a reason for opposition: KJV— enmity, hatred. Those that have gladly received the Apostles words (John17:17-21; Acts2:41-42; James1:21-25); and have put on Christ in baptism (Gal.3:26-29), thereby obeying from the heart Christ’s Apostle’s form of doctrine (Rom.6:15-17), cannot have it their way because they belong to Christ “Christ-ians”. A Christian must have the mind of Christ, and the things that are said and done must be his way. Christians are not their own, they’ve been bought with a price (1Cor.6:19-20; 7:22-23). Christians must deny themselves take up their cross daily; not the cross that everyone likes to hang on their walls, hold in their hands, hang around their necks, hang on
their rear view mirrors, lay on their bibles: but the CROSS of SUFFERING to deny what we like and want DAILY, and follow Christ. “Luke 9:23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, (1)let him deny himself, and take up his (2)cross daily, and follow me. 24 For whosoever will (3)save his life (4)shall lose it: but whosoever (5)will lose his life for my sake, the same (6)shall save it. 25 For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away? 26 For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father’s, and of the holy angels.” “John 12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. 25 He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal. 26 If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.” Definition: (1)let him deny himself -720 arneomai (ar-neh’-omahee); perhaps from 1 (as a negative particle) and the middle voice of 4483; to contradict, i.e. disavow, reject, abnegate: KJV— deny, refuse. a) to disregard one’s own interests b) to act entirely unlike himself . (5)but whosoever will lose his life for my sake-622 apollumi (apol’-loo-mee); from 575 and the base of 3639; to destroy fully (reflexively, to perish, or lose), literally or figuratively: KJV— destroy, die, lose, mar, perish. (6)the same shall save it 4982 sozo (sode’-zo); from a primary sos (contraction for obsolete saoz, “safe”); to save, i.e. deliver or protect (literally or figuratively): KJV— heal, preserve, save (self), do well, be (make) whole.
The blueprint of The One Body, The One Church that Christ is building and is the head of (Matt.16:17-18; Acts2:47; Eph.3:17-21; 4:3-6; 5: 22-33; Col.1:12-20), is found in The Apostles’ Doctrine, which is in New Testament Scriptures. Now, let us read in The Apostles’ Doctrine as it defines those that belong to Christ. He that hath an
ear let him hear, and then strive to do, if we are to be “They that belong to Christ”.
whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all (1)in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.(KJV)

If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.(KJV) Definitions: (1) Love not -25 agapao-1) used of persons: to welcome, to entertain, to be fond of, to love dearly 2) used of things: to be well pleased, to be contented at or with a thing….(2) (World)2889 kosmos (kos’-mos); 6) the ungodly multitude; the whole mass of men alienated from God, and therefore hostile to the cause of Christ, world affairs, the aggregate of things earthly the whole circle of earthly goods, endowments riches, advantages, pleasures, etc., which although hollow and frail and fleeting, stir desire, seduce from God and are obstacles to the cause of Christ. In the religious world today there are many things said and done, many prayers offered up and then it is said “In Jesus Name”. If the things that are said and done and the prayers that are offered up is not according to his will, then according to scripture they are OT “In His Name”, which mean by his authority. “John 9:31 Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth. I Jn 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. 14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: 15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.” So how do we let the word of Christ dwell in us richly in all wisdom; believe in his name; know what his will is? According to Jesus Christ these things can only be achieved through his Apostle’s word, which is found in his Apostle’s doctrine. They must be by the commandments of the apostles of the Lord and Saviour. All these things are found in the New Testament, then and only then is it, “In Christ’s Name”, thereby being “by his authority”. John 17:20 Neither pray I for these

Acts 2:41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. 42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.(KJV) 1Thes 4:1 Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, so ye would abound more and more. 2 For ye know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus.(KJV) 2 Pet 3:1 This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance: 2 That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:(KJV) Rom 8:9 But ye are no in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Dear reader, please remember the words of the Lord Jesus: Matt 22:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God. Here the apostle Paul instructed the body, in Corinth, Ephesus and also Timothy, on some similar things: 2 Cor 1:12 For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward. 13 For we write none other things unto you, than what ye read or acknowledge; and I trust ye shall acknowledge even to the end; 14 As also ye have acknowledged us in part, that we are your rejoicing, even as ye also are ours in the day of the Lord Jesus.
