“I desire deep healing and transformation by acknowledging the power that is within me.” We are going to see a significant shift in energy with this moon in Scorpio, which is directly opposing the sun in Taurus. The energies will have the opportunity to balance themselves between the earthly energies of Taurus with the water energies of Scorpio, where an area of our life is being illuminated, shining it’s focus on the Scorpio themes of transformation, intuition and energy healing. What are we seeing in ourselves that was unconscious or that we were unaware of? What is coming up in our awareness and in our emotional needs? We may have a sense of what is happening within us because the Scorpio energy is about what is under the surface, secrets within, whereas the Taurus energy is about what is above the surface, what we see and experience by tapping into our five senses.

This shift in energy is asking us how we feel right now. What is happening within us that we are willing and ready to shine a light on and fully own? What we are feeling and sensing may be hard to put into words at times, but we will feel it strongly. The Scorpio energy will notice how something is coming up and that we will have to work through it and understand our emotions in a deeper way. Scorpio is also where we connect with energies that can help us heal. It allows us to connect with energies that we take on from other people. This could include traumatic experiences and emotional energy. We can be feeling a lot that is not ours and part of that Scorpio energy is working through it. Whatever we have energetically been feeling or experiencing, we are ready to cleanse, purify and transform.

The moon is currently opposing a line-up of planets. The sun is in conjunction with Uranus, and Venus and Mercury are both in Taurus. All these planets are together in an area of our chart, bringing our attention to what is happening in our real world. The Taurus energy is about stability, reliability and what we can count on.

It is the builder of the Zodiac, where we understand what is required of us. Taurus energy can bring about finances and the monetary means of something. What things will cost? What do we have to pay? What will be the committed investment outcome? The Taurus energy will see things through, highlighting where we have been focusing and where we are now tapping into more of our truth or what is happening within us, which is important to acknowledge and own.

With the sun in conjunction with Uranus, something comes up to our awareness during the full moon, where there will be an awakening or a surprise, which can also be chaotic or unsettling. The Taurean energy will allow us to build up a higher awareness of what we really want. To have what we want, we will have to let go of something that no longer serves us; something that brings about a turning point in our life; a revelation.

It may be something that we can no longer ignore or deny. Another startling revelation may come outside of us, destabilising the energy of Mercury and Venus in Taurus, where our hearts and our minds are. It may feel hard to make a change, but we are aware of the change and that is the strong Uranus energy. It may shake up what has felt comfortable.

Saturn is currently sitting in Aquarius, squaring Uranus, which can also dig up some unwanted feelings that will need to be addressed. Saturn creates a sense of pause, where we can find a lot of wisdom in our awareness. Trust what you feel with this newfound wisdom within. What messages are coming through? Our intuition may become louder, which can distract our focus on things in the real world. Taurus is all about our physical world and physical material experiences. Saturn in Aquarius is bringing our attention to what we know about ourselves; what we can no longer ignore or deny. Aquarius is the higher knowingness in Saturn, the reality check about who we are and what we are concentrating on. We may think about where we will be directing our energy every day, what we have learned in the process and what we will do with it in the real world.

The Scorpio full moon is associated with Buddha’s life - the transformation of Earth’s enlightenment and death, making it a time to check in with ourselves and the path we are on. It’s also about letting go of what no longer serves us so we can focus on what we are building and looking at the practical reality of where we want to go next on our journey. The combination of these two signs can be powerful and healing as the nurturing energy of Taurus calls us back to home, asking us to slow down, tune in and do the inner emotional processing under this intense full moon. We can find a true inner security in ourselves that cannot be touched by anything external, coming from a place that feels safe and at home from within. Love and light and Happy Full Moon!
