Stewartstown Senior Center, 26 S. Main St., Stewartstown, will hold a public breakfast on Thursday, Aug. 16. The York County 4-H Fair will be held on Saturday, Aug. 11, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 12, from noon to 4 p.m. at the York County 4-H Center, 771 Stoverstown Road, York. Admission and parking are free. The York County 4-H Fair is open to the public. The theme for this year’s fair is “Join 4-H and Launch Your Future.” The 4-H Fair will showcase many of the opportunities 4-H provides to youths and families. For the past several years, Austin L. Grove American Legion Post 403 has sponsored rising high school seniors to attend the program. This is the first year Unit 403 sponsored a KGS attendee. The Pennsylvania American Legion opened the 2018 session of KBS at Shippensburg University on June 17. KBS is a one-week workshop on the principles and organization of Pennsylvania government. Senior Center Posts Schedule The Delta Area Senior Center, located in the Peach Bottom Township Building at 5 Pendyrus St., has announced its upcoming activities. Free Wi-Fi, Wii video games, and walking are available from Monday to Friday. A hot lunch is served on weekdays at noon for a donation.
